Easily one of the top bakeries in sacramento. The savory items are just as good as the sweet options. Come early if you want the almond chocolate croissant. Its worth it. Beautiful hand crafted baked goods. Wonderful service and wonderful bakers.
The brown butter almond cake was warm, moist on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. The cardamom bun was baked to perfection, flakey, soft, crunchy top, pulls apart beautifully. The ham and cheese croissant was salty, savory, and buttery. I've been trying out a lot of bakeries in the area, from Stockton, Modesto, Livermore, etc. and so far this has been the absolute best. The prices are very fair as well, definitely been to bakeries that charged twice as much for...
This bakery offers tasty baked goods and charming gift items. There’s no indoor seating, but a few outdoor chairs are available. I tried the apple galette, which was very delicious, although a bit pricey. The hours may be inaccurate; it was supposed to close at 1:30 pm, but I found it still open at 1:45 pm.
