We had a bad experience our first time there but instead of relying on their reputation & writing us off as customers, the manager personally reached out to me & asked me to give them another chance. I've given them 3 more chances and they have not disappointed. Each time, my son tells me it is the best steak he's ever had. We also love the lobster mac & cheese, other appetizers, the fish entrees, & even the bread. Ambience & service are top notch.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!! Service was immaculate and dinner ?!! Don't get me started. My friend's going away was here, I had lemon drops, lobster ravioli, filet mignon and sour cream mashed potatoes. I definitely want to come back here with my boo.

We had a 7:00 reservation last night to celebrate a birthday - party of 2. We did not get seated until 7:50. We ordered chopped salad, filet mignon, and au gratin potatos. The potatoes were cold and the steak was cold and tasted like someone spilled the entire seasoning shaker on it - you could not even taste the meat. What a disappointment- especially for a birthday. I do not recommend Morton's Sacramento

The food is always consistent. The Mac and cheese is so good, it's my favorite thing there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I enjoy every visit, it's a very joyful yet sexy sleek setting.

First time at Mortons - loved the atmosphere but our waitress barely came to check on us until we asked for the check, thats when she came and started conversing with us (maybe hopes for a good tip). Loved the fries and the ravioli, mac and cheese was delicious. I ordered a steak medium rare but it came out medium but surprisingly it was still pretty darn good. haha. Would dine in again next time I'm in town.

Came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and was very impressed with all the special touches. Personalized menu, little confetti on the table, and they even took a commemorative photo! Big comfy booths, open concept restaurant, and great steaks and seafood. Thanks for a very memorable night!

I'm am impressed with the quality of service we received! Ricardo was delightful and friendly! Answered all of our questions and was very informative about the menu and wine list. He went out of his way with special requests or if we needed an extra plate. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was fabulous!

Parking: No parking lot. We had an early reservation so the signs for valet weren't out when we arrived. Parked in a nearby structure with a short walk to get to restaurant. It was raining so that was a bummer, Location: Downtown but not close to many other establishments. We wanted to grab a drink beforehand but there weren't nearby bars we could easily stop at without being late to our reservation. Experience/Vibe: High End, but felt like a place to go to a business dinner, not very romantic. Restaurant was well lit. We were basically the first guests and were placed in a large booth near the back where the service workers congregated. It was awkward hearing them talk and hearing all the plates banging and having people walk by us often. You could basically see inside the kitchen. It would have been nice to be in a more private area with less noise. What was nice was the host moved the table for us to sit so we didn't need to scoot. It was my birthday so they had a special menu printed that said my name on it and I did receive a free dessert. Food: The menu was recently changed for spring but this was a bummer because a lot of the items we saw on the menu that we had wanted to try were removed and unavailable such as the oysters among others. The food was decent, probably enjoyed the appetizers most. The mashed potatoes were subpar the shrimp was not very good at all like over cooked. The steaks were fine, but I prefer another business'' steaks by a long shot. Service: our waitress was attentive and helpful Overall the experience was just ok but we felt that we spent a lot of money on a dinner we didn't love. Probably wouldn't come back.

I'm not a steak enthusiast, but love to pop by Morton's for a bite with my girlfriends. The bar happy hour menu is perfect for pre-gaming before a show at DOCO - and service is always top notch. Thank you to my fellow Portuguese-speaking server, Ricardo, who made my double birthday dinner with my best friend a perfect evening a while back! The only thing to note is that it can get busy and noisy - not my favorite date night spot, but YES to a delicious dinner out!

Ordered lobster and au gratin potatoes... both came out raw. Potato slices were still crunchy, indicating that the dish was way undercooked. Now the lobster: I couldn't even cut it, it was so stringy and completely raw!!! How do both of my dishes come out raw!!!??? I've given this place so many chances... too many chances. No more. Not for this much money--it's not worth it.

My experience took place at 6:00 p.m. on a Tuesday. I had made a reservation, but it seemed as we were immediately seated in a restaurant that wasn't very full. About ten other tables were seated near us. Justin, our server, greeted us and introduced himself. He gave us a few minutes to look at the menu and checked back quickly. We asked for a couple more minutes, and then a server assistant dropped off bread. We waited for about 30 to 45 minutes for our food. We decided to skip appetizers and go straight to the main course, which was two 8 oz filets, mashed potatoes, and lobster mac and cheese. All the food was great. However, I gave this place a four-star review because the restaurant lacked personality. It was a very formal dining experience that I was not expecting, but I could see where it would be appropriate for someone else. I think I would return if I had checked out the bar situation and I would probably rather dine in the bar area than the main dining room.

My fiancée and I decided to visit Morton’s for a late Valentine’s Day dinner since I was finally in town. I have visited Morton’s multiple times in the past but the service is time around was subpar. I didn’t get the server’s name; however, he forgot our orders and had to repeat them multiple times to him. I would have loved a glass of water but our water was sadly not refilled throughout the whole visit. The waiter was very inattentive and did not seem to bother checking up on us throughout the night. Both my fiancée and I had much higher expectations from such a nice steakhouse but just left unsatisfied. Not due to the food, which was delicious and perfect by the way, but by the service. Poor representation of such a great restaurant.

We decided to try Morton's in Sacramento and it was a great experience. Steve was awesome, super patient helping us decide what to try. We both ordered filet mignon, with Mac and cheese, potato's augratin and King crab legs, and everything was 5 star super delicious. Tyler the manager helped us pick a red zin wine, "Rattlesnake" and it also was delicious. We sat at a bar table and received special attention and it was really nice and we avoided a long wait time. I recommend reservations. 5 star

Good service. Ambiance is as expected. Nice, classy and relaxed. Food was good but not exceptional. Pretty pricey. Wine list was okay. Basically what I expected

Rating a steakhouse is difficult because they are all so similar. In this case, it was SUPER expensive, we were sat right by the front door, both steaks (ribeye and NY) were overcooked (ordered med rare), and she charged us for the "free" desert she offered. Strangely bad experience for what a nice place it seemed to be. The appetizers and the side easily outshined the steaks. Which was odd. I think this may have just been a fluke? I see so many good reviews, but it just wasn't... good. Very odd.
