Fantastic food (and cocktails). Prices were right for both! Had several raw dishes recommended here which balanced out nicely with with a lomo saltado. Kind of a non descript location in an office building.

This place is unfortunately not the place for me or my partner, but the other 4 guests at my table seemed to enjoy themselves.

The Lobster Soup is served in a very small bowl for the $6.50 price and is not served in a bread bowl per the menu posted online

The Peruvian Octopus was cooked well, but again I do not believe the portion size was worth the price.

The Lomo Saltado should be given an option on how well you want it cooked, I found out after the meal that my partner was not happy with how rare the meat was cooked and would have much preferred a medium or medium well, but she was too shy to speak up about it. This meal is served on a large bed of rice and I believe it to be much more worth the price tag, but unfortunately it was not to her taste.

The food has a nice presentation, but that does not affect my score, the server was honestly very nice and the whole atmosphere was very casual.

Perhaps we would have enjoyed different meals more, but this is not something I would take a chance on again

I found Octopus Peru while searching for a restaurant near Golden 1 Arena, and it was a fantastic choice! We started with drinks—my wife loved her “Amore del Mar” so much she had two, and my “Guava Affair” was incredible. I also tried the “Peruvian Spicy,” which had tequila, ginger, mango, and habanero syrup—the heat was perfect! We have a tradition of ordering oysters, so we couldn’t resist the ½ dozen, but the “Smokey Tuna Tostada” was the real star.

The portions were large, prices reasonable, and despite how busy it was, the staff was friendly and attentive. A highlight was chatting with the owner, who told us about his other restaurant, “Octopus Baja”—I’ll definitely be trying it next time we’re in midtown! The inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a parents' night out without the kids before the show. Can’t wait to go back!

Octopus Peru is a fantastic newer spot! The server gave fantastic recommendations for the Baked Oysters (which were delightful). The Smoky Tuna Tostadas had a mouth watering aioli sauce. We were also recommended the Lomo Saltado which had a great portion size and tender steak. The chef gave us a sample of the Pollo A La Brasa and I definitely want to come back and get a full entree!

It’s a hike to the bathroom. They were out of the fish for all the main items we wanted to order. Can’t say it was worth it.

Delicious aguachiles, great cocktails, and a cute ambiance. What more can you ask for? My friend and I are obsessed with the aguachiles

Great place, kind of hidden because the outside lighting isn't good so it can be easy to miss. Look for the large bright 'OPEN' sign on the window directly across the La Cosecha outdoor seating area. Inside it's cozy and comfortable. I had the agua chile de camaron with a margarita and they were excellent

Parking: Forget about street parking, easiest way to park is to use the garage at I & 10th (City Hall garage) since there's plenty of space and just walk across the park. It's just across La Cosecha.

Awesome new spot downtown! The interior design is super thoughtful and chic, the server/bartender was knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was delicious, we polished off 3 plates of healthy portions between 4 of us. Ceviche was very good, certainly better than I ever thought I would find in Sac. Would love to see more traffic through here, they deserve to stay open!

This place is charming and welcoming. It's new and the menu was created by Chef Dora. Let me start off by explaining the 4 stars. The restroom is far across the lobby of the connecting building so it's hard to find if you're not escorted by staff. They're located at the end of a business building on the corner of 9th (between I & J Street), across from their sister restaurant, La Cosecha, at Cesar Chavez Park. Use street parking or the parking garage.

Food takes a little while but be patient because the care and flavors are worth it.

Let's get into the good stuff because even the chiles used are imported from Peru. Think fusion flavors between Peru, Mexico and Asian influences.

Tribute to Rainbow Mountain:
Literally a little mountain of deliciousness with diced sashimi tuna. The purple sweet potato puree along with the avocado puree makes this dish pop. A slight smokiness from the chipotle sauce and topped with pickled red onion & plantain chip pieces. A must try!

Agua Chile de Camaron:
Raw shrimp (mix to begin the curing process) is spicy and tasty. The green salsa, sliced red onion, cucumber and jalapeno brings this home. I added more fresh lime juice, but it's already high in acidity. The tostadas are crispy goodness.

Rockfish Tiradito:
This sashimi rockfish dish is packed with so much flavor and color. The sauce has a hint of spice, smoky and sweetness to it. The sweet potatoes compliment it well. This is my favorite dish between the 3 we tried. This one truly shines with cultures & flavors.

Give them a try! Definitely worth it.

Food was delightful - colorful, vibrant, delicious, unique. The plates were bigger than expected. The drinks were good. The murals on the wall are lovely and mirror the story portrayed in the menu. The owner welcomed us and freely told us more of the back story and his vision and hopes for future endeavors. I'm so glad we went, and I hope to come again.

Stopped by Octopus Peru and we had a great time! Been meaning to try this place after checking out Octopus Baja a couple months ago. Food and service were wonderful! Asked a lot of questions about the menu and the servers were very helpful. Had the Tribute to Rainbow Mountain dish (tasty and refreshing with a kick) and The Mermaid Crown dish (yummy scallop). The Pisco Sour cocktail was really good too! Would definitely recommend ?.
