Went by tonight and it looks like they're now closed - no food was out and looked like they might be closed for good? :(

Great quality and cleanliness. Everything is super fresh and you get more protein per buck at this place than you do at some other poke spots in town.

I was on a morning walk with a co-worker, and just happened to pass Ohana Poke Bar. I decided to stop back by for lunch......since I love Poke. The establishment was clean & the staff was very friendly and I learned they just had their grand opening the day before. I had never been to a Poke Bar before, and the young woman that helped me, had no problem guiding me through the experience. For less than the price of what I would usually pay for a sushi roll somewhere else....I got a Poke Plate (they offer smaller bowls) on a bed of 1/2 brown rice & 1/2 Kale and Orange Salad. For the Poke, I had salmon, albacore tuna, and octopus……tossed in their popular house made sauce....along with red onions, green onions, marinated cucumbers, seaweed salad, and mango. It was topped with a drizzle of spicy mayo, fried garlic, fried onions & a sesame seed/dry seaweed mixture. It was AMAZING!! I

I wanted to love this place. Born and raised in Hawaii, I LOVE poke. The bar-style places that proliferate California tend to have low quality fish and smother the lack of flavor with a proliferation of toppings. It is nearly impossible to find poke with high quality cuts of fish around here. But I tried one more time at Ohana Poke Bar. And it did not hit the mark. I ordered a regular size and walked away still hungry, despite the high price tag. The poke itself felt a little more authentic than a lot of other places but was pretty bland, as though it needed more salt. The rice was a bit under-cooked, though acceptable. When I realized that maybe my bowl was missing some spice, the one employee working was nowhere to be seen. For some reason he goes and hides in the back until a new customer walks in, making it hard to help the customers eating. It seemed a bit unprofessional to me. They were also out of their house sauce and the only options left were mayo based, which was not what I was looking for. If you enjoy poke bars, I would recommend trying this place as the flavors are a little different, though the portions could be bigger. I am personally a bit of a poke-snob, I will admit, and was therefore disappointed.

Friendly customer service. Great quality food. The person helping us was very patient with me as I made my choices.

This place is solid for poke. I thought the fish was fresh, and they had a good variety of toppings. I also like how this place has a mini box or "snack" portion for a cheaper price. The mini box is plenty for lunch. You get a base, two scoops of fish, 1 side, and toppings. My main complaints are that the place seems a little old and dirty, and there isn't much seating inside. The poke also comes in a styrofoam container, which makes it seem like low quality, although the actual food tasted great. If you're in the area and want a quick bite to eat then this is your place!

Great place for poke on the go. I usually park on the street instead of the parking lot.

Location and food is great. Just wish the selection was a little greater/ larger

I LOVE this place. This is my favorite place to eat in Sacramento. The owner is really cool and nice and really working great with what he has. The food is so good and fresh. When I go to other Poke places I always find myself comparing them to Ohana's. Wish I could go more often. Love the crab salad the best!

Good food. Great quality. Best service. Very expensive. Only couple of chairs available to sit. They use styrofoam boxes.

They ran out of rice. Who runs out of rice at a poke place? You can't cook a small batch? If it's because you have giant rice cookers, I would invest in a small rice cooker. There was 5 of us, you could of possibly made $70 with drinks. Just saw a guy go in and got told the same thing and he left as well. It's 7:52 now and he just turned the open sign off. He must want to go home early. I've always wanted to try this place, but I guess not, Ohana!

I'm so sad to be saying this, but this place has gone down. Management must have changed? It used to be my favorite & now I don't think I'll be going back. The last couple times I've been now the quality of fish is mushy & gristly & nasty. I had to pick out 90% of what little protein they put in. The lettuce was limp & old, overall just no longer tasty. Bummer.

I use to come here every Sunday but their quality of fish and topping freshness has dropped over the past few months. They have a small "snack" portion for a decent price and perfect for me. But with all the new poke hot spots around town, they need to up their freshness, not be so stingy with their scoops, and not close so darn early.

I can't recall a time where I had better service!! They also have great vegetarian options that are reasonable in price for the amount you get. The options are delicious and come with great toppings and sauce. Will definitely come back! Thanks for the delicious food and stellar service.

My favorite poke place in Sacramento! I like their selection of fish and sides. The food items always tastes fresh and I think the price is reasonable. Definitely going to frequent this place now.
