They switched owners about 4 years back that's the reason why this bar is going downhill. The owner wolfgang hooper is a con artist/alcoholic and he doesn't want to spend money on the right thing being done! he will pay you to do something wrong save 15 dollars. i watched him try to sell someone a house with a water seeping issue and he wondered why his realtors couldn't pawn it off on some unsuspecting first time buyer.
anyways i digress.... this bar is filthy. They have the nastiest kitchen i have ever seen in my life.

2 years ago, I gave the pub a high food rating. Their corned beef was excellent- tender and tasteful. The cabbage was well prepared, and the bangers and mashed was great. Then the bar changed hands and apparently chef too. The corned beef was no longer tender and the cabbage was fried and greasy. They were out of bangers, but I won't be back to try them.

Went to have corn beef and cabbage for St. Patricks Day. Worst corn beef ever. Cook had long hair and kept sweeping in back while he was cooking. His girfriend was sitting near his area and came to our table and asked why they served our lemon drop in a martini glass, cussed and moved back to the counter by the cook. Do not eat anything here. We went to another restaurant to celebrate.Parking: Old Sac was busy but parking was fine.

Most fun I had in a long time the new owners really made the difference here.Always making the place new and exciting around holidaysWhen it’s not holiday season they come up with other entertainment like glow parties , bbqs , sports alway playing.Local bands ,comedy and magic shows .Vegetarian options: Great food and imaginationWith no meat plates
