Naomi was so great, I was in from out of town and she made me feel at home and great service. The steak salad was spot on and the beers were delicious as expected. Highly recommend especially if Naomi is in

So the food here is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Their employees don't know what's in the food they serve so I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with any food allergies. Staff is also very disrespectful and confrontational to customers when issues are brought to their attention. Specifically, Naomi who was the highest person of authority when my friend and I had this particular issue refused to make eye contact and address our issue. When it was brought to her attention she appeared ready to fight us.

We remember with fondness Pete's on 20th and J.. Incredible pizza with fantastic crusts and authentic ingredients. Took kids and friends there often. Forgot about the place until recently (COVID!) and ordered a pizza to take out. What a mistake! The crust was not at all the same--not that fantastic "french bread" type crust but something else (and not good). The sausage (used to be authentic Italian sausage crumbled) was little logs (really! log shaped things) of unrecognizable meat, without flavor. Bring back the old recipes folks, and we'll be back. Until then, i'm staying away and (if you're ordering pizza) you should, too.

We had the combo appetizer, which was quite good. The chicken tenders were overcooked but still tasty. They have a nice variety of beers on tap, and we're happy to allow me to sample a couole. The bar is small but fully stocked. We went around 3 pm, which is their happy hour with $5 beers on tap. They were well worth it.

Just left. Couldn’t believe I left an entire pizza in a pan, told the waitress it wasn’t good and she didn’t even say sorry much less offer to take it off the bill. Sucks. Only flew in for a 2 day trip from Wisconsin and I’d say if you can avoid it, don’t go to Pete’s for your vacay meal. Husband was disappointed by the flavorless burger and fries too.

Food was good, chicken sandwich was served hot and the beer was ice cold. Expected, beyond that it was good. Nothing negative, I would eat here again.

Pete's is one of the few legit pizzeria in Sacramento. Coming from NYC, it's been difficult finding restaurants that can give me the quality that I'm used to. Pete's was moderately priced with an amazing taste, a decent atmosphere, and right across the street is Cesar Chavez park.
