Pho City is hands down the best Vietnamese Pho sopt in the greater Sacramento area. It's not just a cool restaurant to dine in, it's great if you want to take away your food as well. The beef pho is the best dish in my opinion, but the chicken soup/pho is just as good. The egg rolls are exceptional. This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I’m just visiting town, so I figured I’d try one of the more popular Vietnamese restaurants in Sacramento. I ordered the pho dac biet with the big noodles. The meat itself was good and they gave a solid portion, but the broth was underwhelming. It lacked depth of flavor and tasted pretty bland to me.
I also wouldn’t recommend getting the big wide noodles. They didn’t seem fresh and didn’t have that soft, bouncy texture you usually get from fresh noodles...

My favorite Pho without a doubt. 'Nuff said 😊.
There will be someone nearby to call over if you need service. Otherwise, staff leaves you alone. Pay at the register. The restaurant is large and while not fancy, it is clean, and you'll find me there often for a hot bowl of soup.
