Very simple menu. Wish they have spring rolls and xl pho. Their pho is awesome, the broth tastes clean and fresh. Broth doesn't taste like yesterday's. Must try if your in town.

I have been looking for the best pho in Sacramento, and I think I finally found one. Pho soup made of quality ingredients and was so aromatic and flavorful. I only tried pho, but I am definitely coming back to try other dishes. One downside was that it cost me almost 20 dollars, including tips for one pho soup.

Absolutely best pho I have had in Sac. Flank steak served on the bone is a nice touch and the establishment is very clean compared to some of the others

It's an older joint but the staff was rude and they don't listen. My nephew ordered shrimp noodle soup but they didn't understand him ( he speaks low in public, 7 years old) so I asked my nephew did you want chicken or shrimp, number 8 or number 9 he said 9 but they brought chicken. The girl took it back then the lady comes over and starts to argue how we said chicken. I let her know we said number 9. Looked on menu number 9 was the shrimp. At the end of the meal instead of taking the money with the bill they made us go to the counter to pay ( walking on a very wet floor, they mopped around us). Bad experience food was ok.

Pho Ru truly exceeded our expectations in every aspect of our dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, got to love mom and pop shops with style. The attentive and friendly service was a plus. Now, let's talk about the food – it was simply amazing! We opted for the pho combo, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The soup had depth and flavor, and the inclusion of the bonus rib bone added an extra layer of happiness. Additionally, we tried the green fried rice, which was a delightful surprise. Its fresh and vibrant flavors made it a perfect complement to our meal.

Pho Ru offers a decent dining experience for those in the mood for some hearty Vietnamese food. The Phở here is moderate, not the absolute best I've had, but certainly satisfying. It's full of flavor, with the broth being the standout element. The service is standard, nothing exceptional but also nothing to complain about. The staff are polite and quite efficient. The location of the restaurant isn't particularly noteworthy, but it's comfortable enough for a casual meal. The big surprise was the large Phở order, which came with a free beef bone. It's a unique touch that I appreciated and a great way to add extra depth to the soup. All in all, while Pho Ru might not stand out in all aspects, it's a option for a tasty, fulfilling meal.

This place is a very good spot. Very well rounded in all the food. The portions are good and very reasonable for a dinner date or just lunch out with the girls. My kids like it, that’s how I found out about it. The waiters understand the orders well and are one point with the orders and food.

Bad service, never offered or brought us drinks . Large pho didn’t have enough broth . The floors are so dirty. They charge you for to go boxes without telling you. Don’t bring your kids here the music videos that keep replying on their TV is inappropriate and the location of the TV is impossible not to catch your eye. Won’t be coming back.

Thought this place would be good because of the reviews.. Got seated right away, ordered some pho and egg rolls and got our food in less than 10 minutes. I think I ordered the number 14, regular size. Broth was good at first, had some food flavor, then towards the middle of eating it, it got super bland. I didn't really enjoy it anymore. Egg rolls seemed like they were fried in old oil, they were also a bit bland. I thought the chili oil would give us some flavor, but even the chili oil wasn't that good either /: it seemed old. It looks nice inside, but it also seemed a bit dirty. The sauces were dirty, the chili oil container was oily. Don't think I'd come back. But now I know!

I wanted to like this place just because I have a friend who loves going here. I was just really disappointed in the flavors of the pho dac biet (special $12.95 regular size). It just didn't taste as clean and light with natural flavors as I've had it at other restaurants. The first sip tasted good, but as you kept eating, the flavors went away. You definitely needed to add hoisin sauce and sriracha to it. The egg rolls (4) also didn't come with any fresh leaf lettuce or shredded daikon and carrots. They just tasted super heavy and you can taste the greasiness. Service was good. They were quick and friendly. I think the restaurant itself just needs a little remodeling and clean up. The seasoning bottles and jars were icky and sticky.

Delicious authentic Vietnamese restaurant serving pho and a limited focus selection of dishes. Food: Pho dac biet lon (the special large) 5/5 - excellent version features beef rib bone; perfect cuts of meats, perfectly textured rice noodles, fresh veggies and superb broth Banh canh cua - 5/5 - absolute favorite dish here; savory crab udon noodle soup Mi vit tiem (braised duck noodle soup) - 5/5 - another favorite dish; if you love duck, this is a must try dish Mi hoanh thanh (wonton noodle soup) - 3.5/5 - mediocre; least recommended of the noodle soups here Sinh to bo (avocado smoothie) - 4/5 - pretty good Passionfruit with chia drink - 2.5/5 - lacks the passionfruit seeds Ambience: Medium-sized, variable seating from high top-diner seating to table and booth seatings Service: Fast, efficient. Friendly boss lady

The absolute best pho in town! Pho Ru was recommended to us by friends and boy were they spot on. This trip I just needed some broth, as I had pho leftovers from another restaurant closer to my home but was in the area. I didn't think Pho Ru was only sell the broth but it's so good, I wasn't too proud to beg, I mean ask lol. To my shocking delight, customers can purchase broth alone! That was my plan, until I noticed the gigantic bowls of hot, steamy soup being enjoy by customers. So! I ordered a number 4, and extra broth to accompany my left over pho at home. I'm telling you boys, I could just take a straw to the broth it's so amazing. We've tried a number of places and they don't come close to Pho Rub. The tenderness of the beef bone will just knock your socks off. The meatballs however are always tough and far too chewy, so I assume they are made of leaner cuts of meat. Opt for the #4. I notice many people order the #1. Next time I'll be buying much more broth to freeze at home and use when I am making my own (less than stellar lol) attempt at pho.

The Pho was ok. Not bad but I've had better. The lady waiting tables was very rude with customers. I seen her get into a verbal argument with a customer who was buying food for a homeless person. The lady employee was very rude and handled this situation very unprofessional. Also they charged me .50 for each Togo container. The Pho should have been $13.95 plus tax. She rang me up to $17.95. when I asked why so much more, she said it was . 50 for Togo container. Still the math did not add up, but seeing how rude she was to other customers I went ahead and just paid and left.
