Friday, 10/25/2024 - Tried "Pho Viet Anh" for dinner for the 1st time. Address is 9529 Folsom Blvd A, Sacramento, CA 95827. They have a nice medium parking lot. We found parking right away. Domino's Pizza is in the front of the building and they are towards the back. Upon arrival....
Pros
1) There was no wait. We seated ourself.
2) the waiter was very nice and patient with us. He let us review the online menu.
3) they didn't provide any hard copy menu. You have to scan the QR code for the menu. It's located on the table.
4) we got the strawberry Lemonade drink ($5.00). It was very tart. A little hard to drink. But we dranked it.
5) We got the large combo pho ($17.00) with the greens on the side. The broth was good. We didn't need to put any of the sauce condiments into the pho broth. We just ate it as is.
6) we got the chicken viet sandwich ($10.20). Sandwich was really good. But watch out. The jalapeño is super spicey. We removed a few jalapeño and the made it less spicey.
7) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste.
8) clean. Our table, chairs, utensils plates, bowls, cups looked clean.
9) they did check on our table to make sure all was good and if we needed anything else.
Cons
1) the menu is small. not much to choose from. But it makes it easier to pick something to eat.
Conclusion
We liked this restaurant. Customer service was great. Food menu is small, but perfect. Made it easier to pick something quickly. Pho was delicious. Chicken viet sandwich was great. Parking was easy. We didn't have any wait time. We'd go here again.

The food was pretty okay. Service felt a little slow but the guy looked knew so that was alright.
The edge seating is a little wonky because you're angled towards the center and not facing each other.
The Calamari was definitely frozen calamari and rubbery.
The Bun Ga Nuong needed work, the cucumber was a bit too chunky and the fish sauce wasn't made well enough, it tasted too bland.
The egg roll didn't taste like anything special as well.
Overall for Rancho Cordova this is typical for Vietnamese food in the area, watered down for the locals and price wise, a little high up there.

The nam khao that they showed us as a new dish was amazing! The chicken was insanely flavorful, garlicy and lemony with crunchy parts in the dish and the mint was the perfect compliment 10/10.
Pho was really well done very fragrant 9.5/10. homemade garlic sauce is a must!

Best salad rolls and pho me and my buddy have had. We were down from Canada and glad we found this place. And whatever that new sauce is the chef made was absolutely amazing. Plus our server was a boss.

I m pregnant and really craving pho, so my husband took a chance to take me here and try them out. But unfortunately was a bad experience for us. Good customer service but the way they handle things are not too thoughtful. The owner came out to explain the hair on the meat is from the cow, and took away the meat from my bowl but never bring a fresh piece back, so unfortunately I lost a piece of meat with cow hair. I also found stuff in the water that I need to switch water. Vermicelli was good, even though the portion is smaller but at least the favor is good. We are definitely ok to pay premium for better quality food but this for me is not passing the cleanness, especially you need to be careful what you eating. They do open till midnight, so if you crave pho like me all the sudden and there’s no place to go, maybe double check your food for real.

I will start off by saying, I absolutely love pho. It has been my go-to comfort food since the 90s. There are plenty of amazing places to get Vietnamese cuisine in our area, and I have my favorites. Thusly, I was excited to try this place because of it's almost ubiquitous 5 star ratings. I seriously could not have been more disappointed...
I was the only customer at 4pm on a Thursday. I ordered a large bowl of pho with steak and brisket, an order of pork spring rolls, and a side of grilled tofu and steamed broccoli.
My pho took almost 20 minutes to arrive, it was not a large, it had no brisket and maybe 5 slices of way overcooked steak. The noodles were starchy and mushy. I had to ask my server about the sparce quantity of meat and showed her there was absolutely zero brisket, in which she took my bowl back to the kitchen and added exactly 3 pieces of brisket. After about 4 or 5 bites, broth was all that remained, leaving me feeling ripped off. The broth was excellent, so there's that.
The spring rolls arrived well after my soup and seemed old, as if prepared yesterday. The rice paper wrap was, dry, leathery, and hard in some places, although the insides tasted OK, but nothing special. I only ate 2 of the 4 rolls I was served.
I never received the steamed broccoli or fried tofu, which is OK because I was done with my meal when my server asked me if I still wanted them, pretty much letting me know she had forgotten.
To recap- being the only customer, it still took 20 minutes to get the wrong size bowl of pho with almost no meat and less noodles than a package of top ramen, followed by seemingly day-old spring rolls, and no of the broccoli or tofu. Needless to say, after being charged $27.49, I felt ripped off and fairly sure that I will never eat here again. Also makes me think that all those 5 star reviews are fake.
