As is customary, the culinary experience was exceptional. On Friday evening, we dined at PlanB restaurant that created an ambiance conducive to an enjoyable evening, with a delectable dinner and impeccable customer service!
A lovely dinner. Had the tomato and burrata appetizer. Excellent. Wife had the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly and tasted great. She loved the ratatouille. I had the pork medallions with shrimp--an odd combination but it worked very well. The sauce over both was paired well and was cohesive but not overly creamy or gloppy. The only less-than-excellent aspects were very slow and sparse service and the bread is pedestrian. A French restaurant should have crusty and warm sliced...
As usual, our dinner was absolutely lovely and delicious. The seasonal stuffed squash blossoms were absolutely incredible! At this time of year, I would like to be able to sit out on the patio, but it's a little bare bones out there. I'd love to see more greenery to make the outdoor dining experience more pleasant.
