I just tried Preethi for the first time. I had Chicken Vendalu & rice for lunch and tried my friend's Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were delicious & a great serving size. The staff was nice, the atmosphere was interesting & cozy, & I enjoyed a nice little cup of coffee too. I will definitely go back!

It's really disappointing now.Kofta curry came with 3 small dumplings (about 1in x0.5 inches) in oversalted curry. For the price, it should be a meal. In years past, this dish would be at least 2 servings.Samosas have gotten smaller and don't include dipping sauces. They're supposedly known for naan but it was dry and also oily.I feel really bad leaving a bad review on a local spot but it's just not worth the money.Hopefully another Indian place opens up soon.

We came on a New Year Day and literally there was one person running the shop. The food was next to impossible to eat. Sambar is just daal, salt and water. We came here as family of 4 and waited for 30 mins to even get startedI don’t recommend this place if you are out of townNot worth the ONE STAR

Food is average, Starters are very tasty and tried different biryanis, tastes more like fried rice. But receiving customers and serving is very good.

Took okra masala, naan and yogurt. Okra masala was sweetish and tasted like manchurian gravy, was not good and portion size was small. Naan and yogurt was good. Difficult to find parking near restaurant.

Food was below average. Came in lunch time on a Monday and the place was completely empty. Never checked on me while I dined in and served me room temperature water. Love Indian food but this will be my first and last time here. Much better Indian restaurant a few blocks away called Bombay should have just went there.

Food was not great but not bad. I'd give it another try but the ambiance was bad and the staff was incredibly rude.15 mins after being served, we were told they're closing and rushed out. Two of us left half our dosas unfinished and when asked to split the check 3 ways, the cashier stared at us angrily, mumbling gibberish. We paid with one card and left.Went here because they were the closest Indian food within walking distance and I suspect the lack of alternatives is the reason they're still getting any business. The taste, quality or prices do not make up for the terrible atmosphere and service. I'd rather buy a frozen meal from target and microwave that at home.

I came for a dinner with my family with the expectation that we would be served a delicious food at this place but, it was exactly opposite of that. First of all, the guy was very rude. We ordered dosa and Manchurian. Manchurian was good but the sambar was cold. I didn’t like the red chutney either. I would never visit this place again.

I had dinner with my family at this place today hence writing a review.1. when I entered the owner was standing right in front of us but didn't greet anyone.2. Vibe of the place is so bad, I mean not welcoming.3. The owner was telling my kids to not touch the ice cream freezer. I mean he is telling kids that ?4. When my mother chose a table for all of us. He said don't sit there. Sit at another table.5. We ordered different dosas 5 plates and still he charge us for one extra sambhar for 6$.(we had dosa at so many places even in San Francisco nobody charged for little extra sambar).6. I am not lying I don't want anyone to waste money there, the food is really bad quality according to the price.7. Last but not least he charged extra service fees which were 15% of the total bill.Disappointed with the rude behavior and extra charges and food quality. Sambar and the chutneys are very bad.I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food and service was amazing! It’s not easy finding good food while traveling, and they made us feel right at home with their delicious home cooked meal! Thank you! Will definitely revisit when I’m back in the area.

Never go to this place. Owner is so rude, restaurant has very bad smell. Don't know how the food will be, but we canceled our order due to bad smell & owners behaviour.I read your response. First of all you know that we were 6 adults and 2 kids. 6 adults were giving you order for food & you never let us know that we can't bring little food from outside even for little kids. When little kids start eating your behavior gets change. We were there to eat food not for this kind of conversation. But your behavior force me to post these reviews. Anyway you should change or improve your behavior with customers.

Went in to pick up some takeout- a dosa, a couple of thalis and some additional dishes a la carte. Walking in the door, I was transported back to India, where I lived for about a year. A family bustling around booths, being meticulous about gettting things right. The food itself was delicious but may not be as familiar to American audiences. Instead of the typical thick, heavily gheed, and watered down Punjabi fare that one gets in the US (Punjabi food is delicious overseas, mind you), Preethi’s food was lighter, spicier, and more complexly seasoned. It reminded me of the kind of food one enjoys when invited to a family meal in someone’s home. My partner and I loved it and will definitely be back!

Loved loved loved this place!!!!Never had a better gobhi manchurian anywhere in the US. The place is so homely and Indian. The service is amazing. The people are so nice. Even though the kitchen closes at 10, they served us beyond that. Must try- gobhi manchurian, kheer, raita, rasam, naan, matar paneerThe food was perfectly hot and spicy.Good- okra masalaThe food was cheap also, we ordered a lot and still managed with <$20 per person. One of the most authentic Indian food I had in the US. ❤️❤️

Exceptional food quality. Especially gobi manchurian and rasam rice here is as authentic as you can get. The service was amazing as well considering we were very late when we got to the restaurant.
