I went to order and the lady does not speak English which is ok and understandable. She messed up my order cause she couldn’t understand what I wanted then when I took it back to get it remade the cook redid it but made sure he put nasty things in it I saw him through the window so I just tossed my food he blamed me for not understanding the lady who took my order because he had to remake it twice DO NOT GO HERE HE WILL PUT NASTY THINGS LIKE HIS FINGERS DIRTY WATER AND ALL IN YOUR FOOD WHEN YOU ASK HIM TO REMAKE IT POLITELY

Was craving some good Mexican food. And thought I'd give this food truck a try. Quick and friendly service. The carne asada fries were delicious and the carnitas nice and crispy. Overall great portions and the horchata was amazing as well. I definitely would go back

Their food is always so good. You can always call ahead to place your order. There has been times our call wouldn't go through, but someone has always called us back. The customer service has always been so good.

The food is good, but I unfortunately got sick after eating their Asada fries with no beans. My friend who had a burrito was fine, so I'm just going to chalk this up to having a sensitive stomach, but I won't be a returning customer.

Burrito was HORRIBLE.. the worst Mexican food ever. My burrito was dry, barely any guacamole or sour cream. Plus it wasn’t any flavor so bland. No seasoning

I eat here monthly and have the chorizo and eggs,potato beans burritos. Also crispy chicken tacos, all very good. Nice attendants are courteous, everything looks very clean. It's a mobile trailer on wheels near Kohl's and Shell gas station near Truxel and Del Paso.

This place is not open at 7am, i was so happy to find a Mexican place that open early, drove here at 7am and the place is close. Its not even a restaurant, its a small car food. Omg i was so disappointed. Never again

First Mexican “restaurant” in the area with crispy tacos, pretty cool. I got the #3 and a carnitas taco which totaled around $25. Definitely a little pricey considering the quality of the food isn’t the best compared to all of the other places in the area. I will definitely come back for the horchata, delicious!
Definitely have to try it out, well served plates, flavorful, feels homemade , worth the price super Breakfast Burritos and chilaquiles, and nothing compared to most Mexican food spots in San Diego!

if i could do half stars, this would be a 3.5/5. i ordered a shrimp burrito and ate it at home. tasty, flavorful, they weren't stingy with the shrimp; which i highly appreciate. got the red and green salsa which were both complementary to my burrito. a tad bit spicy which i like. however the burrito was wet?? a lot of stuff goin on in there and it wasn't wrapped in foil but put in a styrofoam to go box which made it difficult to eat. the burrito wasn't folded tightly. Hard to eat, kinda messy, and i wouldnt recommend this for a first date if you know what i mean.

My first visit to Rafa's the service was friendly service as fast And the Super Breakfast Burrito Ham Bacon Potatoes Refried Beans Cheese on a hot flour tortillas with the grill marks outstanding. Can't wait to try other menu items.
