This ramen place is out go to whenever we are in Sacramento. It's located near a Safeway and the parking is a bit hard but it's definitely worth it. The workers were nice and since it's a popular place there's a wait. The wait was pretty fast since they have outdoor and indoor seating. The spicy tonkatsu ramen is so delicious and the brother is rich in flavor. The takoyaki was a yummy appetizer and a must.

Surely the best Ramen in Sacramento. Simple South Sac restaurant that delivers wonderfully delicious ramen and other treats. The Tempura is reminiscent of Fuji's back in the good ol' days!

I'm sure you have seen all the great reviews and I'm here to be completely honest with you... they deserve the great reviews. This place is delicious and the service is excellent. 10/10.

I wish they had a place like this in Tahoe! We stop here 2-3 times a year on our way through the valley. The Red Ramen is my go to. Get it and you will not be disappointed. I’m not a mushroom fan but even the mushrooms in this dish are amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Had high expectations for this place since it had a ton of high ratings on Yelp. My bf and I were very much disappointed with the Tonkotsu. It looked creamy but was most definitely not creamy. The flavor of the broth was not what we were used to. Just tasted very different from other Tonkotsus we've had. My boyfriend liked the chashu but I was not a fan of the flavor. The gyozas were decent though. Although -- great service. Our food came out incredibly fast. Overall, not worth the hype in my opinion. Will continue to search for better ramen.

Finally tried this spot! It's located in the Safeway parking lot on 19th street. Came here for some lunch with friends and this place was great. Fast and friendly service. Staff constantly made sure our drinks were full. It gets busy quick so get there close to opening. Most days the line is outside the store. Their ramen broth is so creamy and flavorful! I got double egg and added corn to my ramen! Will be back soon for some more!

A little saki so warm and great tasting - ramen is always good to keep on coming in and getting time and time again. I'm not sure if my taste buds are off right now so I won't complain about the meat in the small bowl today. I thought it was me then tasted it again but it may be just me with how I'm feeling. Service was great! Relaxing a good way to end our night.

My go to spot in downtown Sacramento for ramen. I always order the fried rice here and take the leftovers home so I can take them to work the next day. My go to is the red tonkotsu with the "extra spicy" option that is not on the menu. This place can get busy so I try not to go at high volume times.

Ordered the Red Tonkatsu, very flavorful broth, good noodles, reasonable price. I was hoping it would be a little more spicy than it was, for their spicy Tonkatsu offering it was a little weak in spice.

I stopped in with my husband after running some errands. My husband went next door to Wells Fargo while I checked in and they waited until both of us were there ready before seating us. We had a booth by the window, which I was happy about because it meant better lighting for some photos. You know my phone always eats first. My husband isn't big on ramen so he ordered the Age Shumai and Karaage. I asked our server what the best ramen option was and I was excited when they said the Aka (red) Tonkotsu Ramen, because it's typically my favorite option. The food came quickly and was nice and hot, I got to try one of the shumai, but my husband ate all the karaage and said it was tasty and that the sauce had a bit of heat which he liked. The ramen was a good portion and the egg was perfect. I think I would have ordered it with a bit more heat next time, but the flavor was good. I really liked the red ginger in it as well. The team there kept our waters full and checked in on us frequently. I'd love to explore the menu more to see what the other options are like.

Broth had way too much sodium, the food just did not taste good. Service was just OK.
