This place really surprised me! It was very rainy when I dined, so it was a little on the quiet side. I was seated immediately and had my order taken within minutes. This place is sooo good! The food, especially the salt and pepper pork, was DELICIOUS. Very authentic and the interior is beautiful. The kind of place where the staff folds the dumplings by hand. We have and will go back
Update:Came back again and tried some other dishes. Shanghai braised pork was really good. I also tried cauliflower drypot which was cooked very well. The steamed fish took a while to come out but it was delicious. Very authentic place.Old review:I had a good time getting a more authentic Shanghainese food experience here. We got an authentic dish -- vegetable rice with Chinese bacon which was done pretty well, rice was not stuck together and plenty of vegetables not overcooked....
