This place is great it is a small place but it is understandable. The food looked gerat I had the double cheeseburger and it took me back to my childhood when burgers tasted like burgers. The staff were friendly, inviting, and patient.
We were staying in midtown Sacramento and looking for a nearby place for breakfast. The sunshine cafe fit the bill! We ordered an omelet and egg sandwiches along with coffees. The food and drink were good. This is a small, family run place. We were comfortable at the counter along the front window. There are also a few tables inside and outside. The woman who took our order and brought our food was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this as a breakfast spot. We wanted to come...

Street parking in the nearby neighborhood is a tough since most the streets are “permit only” but keep an eye on the signs because some of them are 1 or 2 hour parking without a permit ??
