Not a particularly great experience. I got a Taro Boba and unfortunately they did not offer below 80% sweetness. Boba shops have an unfortunate propensity of turning potentially god-tier drinks into too-sweet sugary sludge. I had heard this place does not make their drinks too sweet, so I hoped I could get away with 80%. The drink I got was not enjoyable in the slightest due to the sickening sweetness and made me feel ill. The boba pearls too were more gooey than I liked. That might be more personal preference though as at least they were not undercooked or old. Maybe if I can go back and try another one that lets me select 25% sweetness level I can reevaluate my review more favorably, but not particularly rearing to go back anytime soon.

Best boba I’ve ever had. But the staff is rude, went in there a couple days ago and the Shorter girl that works there was giving me attitude. She started ignoring me when I would talk to her about things. I threw away my drink and I said “hey this is a really good Boba. It’s the best I’ve ever had” and she didn’t say a word to me. Didn’t look at me. Just acted like I wasn’t even there. Ignored me multiple times too. I’ll still come back because the Boba is so darn good. However I hope the owner or management sees this review and talks about to the staff about ignoring customers

We enjoyed the Thai tea boba with the creamy yogurt add on and the mango smoothie. Definitely coming here again.

The interior of the shop is simple yet has a touch of creativity—initial impression was quite nice. However, the service was completely lacking throughout the visit. The most upsetting part came at checkout, where the receipt showed a mandatory tip charge. There was no option to choose or adjust the tip amount on the screen, and when I brought it up to the staff, they responded with a cold attitude and insisted there was an option—when clearly, there wasn’t.
As for the drinks, the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk was mediocre at best—flat and uninspired. The “Da Hong Pao” tea tasted alright, but it lacked the depth and boldness typical of real Da Hong Pao and came across more like a basic oolong. Only one of the drinks stood out as decent.
Packaging and pricing are competitive for the area, but the forced tipping and so-called machine/service fees are unacceptable and leave a bad impression. Doing this kind of shady business in the capital of California? Aren’t they worried about getting reported?

i love boba and have never had an experience like this at any food or drink establishment. i'm honestly worried about what they are putting in the drinks. our best guess is that the honey boba had gone bad? i got mango, partner got sesame.

I love, love, love tea. So I purchase tea all the time. I only drink water and tea. The fam and I was walking to the car from lunch when I saw this lady with this delightful looking drink in her hand. I asked her were did she get that from she told me. So we walked down the street to the cute little shop. It was super cute on the inside. It has the option to self service or employees will help you. The drink was fire and customer service top tier. Well done. Until next time. ✌🏿
I asked for a strawberry yogurt and they ordered me a strawberry overload… This smoothie tasted more like artificial flavor than real strawberries. Really disappointed

This has been my favorite boba shop for the past 2 years but recently I have been getting the wrong orders. The first time I overlooked it but the second time I called to let them know the drink was wrong ( I always order the same drink every time so my taste buds are familiar with the drink I always ordered) I came in to return the drink and was met with attitude and the drink was still made wrong.
