Four stars because it's such a pain in the butt to get out of a super busy street. LOL.Brian R. and I stumbled across this taco stand right across the street from Green Acres on Jackson Rd. We didn't even bother looking at the Yelp reviews because we're mavericks like that. We took a chance and ordered up!Brian R. ordered 3 carne asada tacos while I ordered 3 al pastor tacos. For $2 tacos, they put a generous amount of meat on the tortilla. Brian R.'s carne asada tacos were solid. It's what you expect carne asada to taste like whereas mine, I LOVE the way how my al pastor was marinated. It's sweet and crispy all the same time, and if you're feeling rather adventurous they throw on tiny chunks of pineapple on top of the meat. As far as onions and cilantro and all other taco toppings aside, they have a table right next to the person taking the order full of toppings and salsas were you can adjust accordingly. However, as far as seating goes, there's one table right next to the person making the tacos, but past that, it's street food meant for take-out. You can also pay cash, Cash App, or Venmo, but other than that, they don't take card. Just keep in mind they're only open from Wednesday to Sunday from 6 PM-12 AM.Overall, Brian R. and I are glad we stumbled across this taco stand right across the street from Green Acres our way back back home. We'll definitely come back for some more if we have an itch for street tacos.

It’s good food but their soft taco had a rock in it I broke my front tooth one time

First.... If you are not familiar with Mexican food in unscrupulous locations. This is not for you. If you know the best food sometimes comes from the places that are not in the Taj Mahal, then this place is for you. Food was great. Great. The price even better. Very happy someone referred this place to me.

Best taco stand in Sacramento! I've seen them grow over time and it's for a reason. Great food & great service. :) Bravo! PS they accept Venmo!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Food is Awful took one bite and couldn't finish asada had a weird nasty after taste as if it was mixed with something else. Tripa is chewy and white the smell on it is horrible And the cooks are disrespectful and the vibe is just not right! We gave them 2 tries & yes we tipped them but still a disappointment. Don't waste your time there's better tacos. I'll give them props to their Jamaica lol but that's it. ‍

Big no for me. I went today with my boyfriend and our tacos were so dry!! The asada was so trash like how hard is it to mess up asada?? The tortillas were super hard and stale. I'm pretty sure they are different cooks now because before it was good. I only took one bite and had to throw my plate away from how disgusting it was. Come here at your own risk.

Having grown in SoCal, I compare most taco stands to this very high bar. Generally speaking, I don't find comparable places up here. This spot is legit! Hibiscus juice is fantastic. Tacos are on point. Enough said. This is where you'll find me When I want tacos in Sacramento.

Went here tonight Friday @ 7:00 and I'm bummed. Nobody there! I was craving the pastor tacos and mulita. I sure hope they come back. See you soon....

This place is so good. It is definitely a must try. I really liked that they have all the condiments on the side so that you can put them on yourself. I have tried almost all the meats and they're all good but the pastor is my favorite. Its open late night and always is there when I'm drunk and need to be saved from literally dying... with a quesadilla.

Brought my parents here a few weeks ago & came back cause the tacos were BOOMBB!! Got 12 of Asada, 2$ a taco! :) They play music, everyone's just chillen.. They seem like great people. Reminds me of the taco stands back home in Salinas.

Best place ever!!! You need to try them out. Authentic Mexican tacos, all kind of meats and salsa is delicious.

Love this place. It has become my Friday taco night spot. The tacos are bomb and they have a good amount of salsas and toppings that you can put on your tacos!
