I've been coming here for a few years now. Mostly we get their chicken nachos, which are big enough that at least two of us could split and be plenty full, and very tasty to boot! I recently came in for breakfast and got their machaca plate and was not disappointed! When I came in, there was a lady making fresh tortillas right by the door on a grill. I got some of them with my meal and they were fantastic. My only "complaint" is that they usually have festive Mexican music playing. Depending on my mood, sometimes I love it, sometimes it's a little much, but if you're looking for someplace quiet, get your food to go and eat it elsewhere. Otherwise, I love this place and will continue to come back. They also have a pretty extensive salsa bar with many options including fresh limes, radishes, cilantro, dried oregano and chilies, and some yummy seasoned shredded cabbage that I add to almost everything.

It's crowded on Sunday morning, but their breakfast burrito so large, we shared. A lo so had dinner here, chile relleno very good, as were the street tacos and carne asada fries.

Food is decent and cheap. Nice selection of foods. Good value for the college students across the street. The smoothie/shakes are excellent and worth trying out. While I know of one other restaurant with better food, none of them have the fruit smoothies La Estrella has. It is worth trying out. Then determine if this will be your place to go for Mexican food. It is on my menu.

This restaurant is nicely decorated with authentic Mexican art and design, which I love and appreciate. The food was alright-- not terrible but not outstanding compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. The reason I will not be coming back is due to extremely poor customer service. The cashier who got our orders (short woman with orange-brownish hair) was extremely condescending and short with us. She barely even looked us in the eyes when we were ordering. She also took about five minutes to refill a cup of water when we went up to the counter and asked. Went in October 2015, haven't been back since, and have no plans to return or refer friends and family.

This by far is my favorite Mexican restaurant. They offer dine in and take out. Their restaurant is decorated with very modern decor are in earthtone colors. There services exceeds other Mexican restaurant in the area. But the most important of course is the food and ti prices. The portion of the food is perfect and the prices are just perfect. There food is full of flavor and they are not skimpy on there meat. They have a very good and great salsa bar that they keep full and very clean.
