Horrible experience. I ordered 2 tacos to go and when I got home only one taco had meat and the other was the tortilla by itself. I went back to ask why this happened and the kitchen staff began laughing in my face. it made me feel as if they messed with my food on purpose so i just requested a refund. Very bad customer service.

The worst carne asada fries I have ever eaten in my life, and that’s honestly saying a lot. From the very first bite, there was absolutely no flavor anywhere in the dish. The carne asada was extremely dry, overcooked, and tough, like it had been sitting out for hours. There was no seasoning, no marinade, no smoky or savory taste that you normally expect from carne asada—just bland, chewy meat that was hard to even swallow.

The fries were just as disappointing. Instead of being crispy or even decently cooked, they were soggy and limp, completely soaked and falling apart. There was no contrast in texture at all, which made the whole dish feel heavy and unappetizing. Even the toppings couldn’t save it. There wasn’t enough cheese, and what was there barely melted or added any flavor. If there was supposed to be sour cream, guacamole, or salsa, it was either missing or so minimal that it made no difference.

Overall, the dish felt rushed and poorly prepared, like no care or effort went into it. Carne asada fries are supposed to be loaded, flavorful, and satisfying, but this was the complete opposite. For the price, I expected something fresh and well-seasoned, but instead I got a dry, flavorless mess. I couldn’t even finish half of it. Extremely disappointing and definitely not something I would ever order again.

I go here at least once a month, I get the same thing every time — the super carnitas burrito. It’s always perfect. The meat is tender and flavorful, the salsa has the perfect kick, and the portions are huge. The staff is super friendly and the place always feels welcoming. Easily my favorite taqueria in Arden!

Definitely my new favorite spot to grab some authentic Mexican food. The birria tacos are one of the best ones I have had in the Sacramento area. Perfectly balanced with the meat and cheese, the consume they give on the side is also delicious. The street tacos were good too (pollo chicken, pastor pork, carne asada beef) but definitely would recommend the birria tacos. The staff are very friendly, they maintain the inside very clean and stocked up. The chips, variety of salsa and condiments that are available are the best I have had, especially the tajin cucumbers. Excited to be back and try more of the menu.
