We say the cutest thai restaurant with great ambience. We stopped to check for vegan options and were thrilled to receive not only a dedicated vegan menu but also a vegan seasonal menu. The selection featured both traditional classics and unique creations, making it difficult to choose from the plethora of options. Everything we tried was delicious. Their house tea, made from a blue flower they grow and dry themselves, was exceptional. I only wish I didn’t have to leave town so soon, as I would have loved to try more of their offerings. If you’re vegan, this place is a must-visit. It's surprising it didn’t show up on Google when I searched for vegan-friendly Thai food. So i had to make sure to post a review of this vegan friendly delicious spot. The owner also talked to us such a kind woman.Dietary restrictions: Full vegan menu, GF friendly

Super yummy.?The pad see ew is 100/10, I recommend to order it with a Thai fried egg. The beef is very fresh and tender.?The Roasted Cornish Hen is AMAZING. Crispy and savory.?The golden pouches (wontons) are crispy, juicy, and tender. Very gentle flavor from the wontons themselves, but the sweet n sour peanut sauce adds a nice tang to it.?They had a steak option, and the sauce that comes with it is SO GOOD. A salty, spiced, savory profile that really makes the plate.(Review edited March 26 2024 due to review being stuck in pending)

Small portions, overly expensive. Not cooked enough, plain and nothing too special about them.

Let me start by saying the food here is 10000/10. I got the drunken noodles and the black sticky rice with coconut ice cream and wow I drool just thinking of the dessert. The only reason I give this place a 4.7 is because for the prize, the portion wasn't that big. The sparking sake was also amazing great, I got a big bottle for about $15 which filled up my glass twice. My server was very friendly and immediately greeted me when I came. The restaurant itself is in a beautiful area in midtown so I'd recommend this spot for solo dining or coming with friends and family. Very comfortable and pretty.

Overall pretty disappointed. The drunken noodles is about half lettuce with half noodles on top, so it looks like a full bowl of noodles, and is not. The waitress didn’t really greet us, and didn’t once fill our water. Confused, we called out to the kitchen after waiting for service and they filled our water, and then we were waiting again. So we called the kitchen again for our bill and boxes. We asked where our waitress went and he informed us that she LEFT THE BUILDING. The environment is cute but the food isn’t good enough to make up for that service. The guy from the kitchen was nice tho.

This is my favorite Thai place in Sacramento and some of my favorite overall food in Sacramento. Can’t recommend it enough. I love ordering whatever they have on their vegan specials menu. They have all been incredible so I just trust what they create and go with it!Vegetarian options: Most things can be made vegan. Running specials list of vegan options that includes apps, entrees and dessert.

We were actually looking for Veg Cafe but ended up inside Thai basil, so decided to eat Thai instead. We ordered panang curry and pad Thai noodles. Pad Thai was definitely one of the best pad Thai I have had. Overall food was good.

I haven't been there for more than a decade because I usually eat at their vegan spot upstairs. That being said, Thai Basil didn't disappoint. The place was kinda empty, and it seems like a lot of their business came from the takeout. I got the impossable kimche fried rice, and I'll be enjoying it for the next two nights.Vegetarian options: There are about 8 vegetarian options, but they aremore expensive.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free
