It's hard to find authentic Laos food in the area, so if you're near The Spot, go check it out. They also have a bar. The Spot is a Lao restaurant with other Southeast Asian influences. Everything was super flavorful and tasted just how I like it. The service was friendly and laid-back. It's def sweet, which can make it a little hard to finish sometimes. But, the overall flavor is better than other places I've tried. It has the perfect amount of kick/spiciness. The meat in the soup is nicely shredded chicken. Prices are reasonable. If you're not feeling soup, get yourself some Lao sausage or wings with sticky rice and some papaya salad.
