Courteous, friendly staff. The food was extremely good and fresh. The Bam sauce and Chipotle mayo sauce are delicious!

This was my first time there and I think I was expecting a bigger loaf of bread than it was. It was delicious and they didn't take that long to prepare it, but the size/price ratio was a bit disappointing, not to mention that it didn't come with a drink or anything extra for that price.

The scallops were small and very fishy. The halibut was bland. The rice was full Of flavor but not the halibut. The filet was good, the gravy tasted store bought. We enjoyed the calamari. The crème brûlée was good the top was wonderful, but was missing some vanilla bean. My daughter's ice cream was good.

What a glorious mess! Unlike our 'normal' 2 or 3 course orders, my companion and I each ordered salads and shared the seafood tower. Clams, oysters, calamari, crab legs, shrimp two ways, multiple sauces . . . . We were filled with tasty seafood and lots of crumbs and drips. When we needed more sauces or bread, there they were, brought by a very nice, accommodating waitress. A nice bottle of wine completed the repast. Not a meal to everyone's style or taste, I suspect, but when the moid is right we'll joyfully do it again.

Very rowdy table behind us and we were moved to another table without question. Wait staff was very good. Crab cakes were very disappointing, dry with a pile of dried leeks aside. I'm a long-time customer there so would give it another chance. Their outside patio is lovely along the Sacramento River, but it was too hot to sit outside.

Our food was very good, the wine was great and our server Chris was outstanding!! Suggested a petite syrah that was so smooth that we bought an extra one for later! Chris went out of his way to engage in convo with us yet never let his watch down to others. His service was probably the best we have had in hospitality ever.

This was a birthday celebration, but our waiter never mentioned anything about my friends birthday. Other than that, his service was good. The food was not great. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict and I would not order it again. Everything that was on it was mushy and it needed something that had texture which you normally get in the toasted bread, but that became soggy from the over wet spinach.

We have been to Scotts many times. We went on July 7 for an anniversary dinner. Our waiter Christopher was very quiet and unenthusiastic. When we told him it was our anniversary his reply was "I know". That was it. No congratulations as most people would say. When we asked for an extra napkin he said, "when I can". He was sufficient and did get us what we asked but never felt anything other than minimal. No have a good time, or congrats. Secondly, we both ordered the filet, medium rare, with scallops. One filet was significantly smaller than the other. One was very small actually compared to the other. Scallops were very good. It felt awkward to ask for anything. He was professional but that is it. I am unlikely to want to return, and certainly not this server again. By the way, I tipped $25 on a $145 bill. So about 18%. I still have respect for a person serving us.

Four of us had the best Birthday Brunch on Sunday. Zay was our server and he was great! We sat for four hours enjoying the afternoon and we couldn't have been happier! One side note: we forgot to get our free birthday dessert!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Scott's seafood. The clam chowder was probably our favorite part of our meal, so much so that we ordered it at breakfast the next morning. We had the chowder, fish and chips, ceasar salad and the crab cakes. The portions on the fish n chips were good, but I feel the price for that was high. The crab cakes were okay, I think the crab was a little dry... but the flavors were great. We went at peak dinner time so service was working over time, but we did throughly enjoy our evening. We plan to return again for chowder at the very least, and I highly recommend breakfast. We loved our breakfast and I hope we go back for special occasions again!

I took my wife or her birthday and compare to prior years where they brought a piece of cake and candle to sing happy birthday, nothing was done for us and the service was awful We have been coming to Scott's seafood for years and this was by far the worst experience . Even at dennys the staff come and sing happy birthday to the guest . Very dissatisfied and disappointed by tonight experience

I've heard such great things about Scott's on the River and was so excited for my date night. But in reality it's an over expensive Red Lobster. The food is expensive with what you get, wait times between courses were long, and it was so loud- I imagined a more romantic setting. I was completely disappointed and will not recommend to friends or family.

Jade made our visit feel special! It was my families first time at Scott's, they loved it. Plan on stay at The W next door when they return to Sacramento later this year, then they can walk over to Scott's. Keep up the great work Jade & staff!

The ambiance and service were absolutely amazing! Food needs a bit more flavor. The appetizers were delicious but the main course just felt a bit bland. I ordered the Macadamia Nit Halibut, done perfectly, but had little to no flavor. My friend ordered a steak and felt the same way. I would definitely visit again!
