Tower Café offers a unique dining experience with eclectic decor and outdoor seating that feels like a jungle. The service is attentive, and the food is amazing. Vegetarian options are plentiful, and there are plenty of parking spots nearby. The restaurant caters to families, with helpful staff and a kid-friendly atmosphere. Standout dishes include the Quaxaca Mole Breakfast, Tower Benedict w/Cornbread, Green Curry, and Pozole, as well as the best roast potatoes and Huevos rancheros. The French Toast is notable for being made with baguette soaked overnight, and the desserts are also excellent. The patio, shaded by ancient trees, is one of the best in the city, making it a lovely place to spend a warm afternoon. The restaurant is located at the historic site where Russ Solomon started Tower Records, making it a classic Sacramento spot. Although it can be busy and a bit pricey, the experience is worth it.
