My Favorite Place to Eat every time i come to Old Sacramento. willies is the place to be for their animal style fries . Garlic fries and especially their hamburgers. I've also had their beignets before and they are delicious just as Disneyland.

Rode my bike 10 miles to Old Sac like I do every weekend. Skipped breakfast to get a good fasting cardio burn. Decided to get some food but I usually avoid Old Sac because the tourist trap tax on everything upsets my wallet. Walked around and saw tacos and burgers for up to $18!! I settled on Willie's because the double burger price was the lowest at $9, cheese was $1.20 Xtra, which I didn't get. I wanted onion rings but $8 was a hell no when the fries were only $4. Burger was an In-N-Out clone, hence the thousand island dressing, I opted for the usual lettuce,onion, tomato toppings. There were more toppings available at additional cost. I chose outdoor seating because the inside was a little cramped and it was a beautiful day to eat outside. My food came pretty quickly and was steaming hot. The burger was very good, fries were crispy. Overall food and service were excellent. I would definitely come back here before paying double at another nearby restaurant. Why are onion rings so expensive everywhere.🤔🤔

Service was fine, it's counter service, so it's pretty transactional. No complaints there. Absolutely disgusting food! I got the slammer cc (chili burger with cheese), wife got the chili dog and a medium fry to share. The fries were great, classic frozen fries from sysco or other similar vendor, fried perfectly with a little salt. Perfect. The burger was the most revolting burger I've ever eaten. The tomato was an inch thick, and I'm not exaggerating, so I had to take it off as it was 50% of my burgers volume and thats just too much tomato for any sane person. There was mustard, pickles and onions on the burger, which is not listed on their menu. There was was too much mustard, which became the predominant flavor of the burger. The patty was bland. I couldn't even taste it, there was no seasoning. The chili was awful, it was the consistency of tomato paste, just a full chili pureed paste. It was dry and oozed grease and did not taste good. I've had better chili at a gas station. The chili dog was not any better. It had cheese and chili and nothing else like onions you would expect on a chili dog. The dog itself had less texture than the bun, like a poor quality hot dog thats been sitting in water for days, there was no flavor left in it. And then topped with the paste of chili it was disgusting. All in all we took a couple bites and threw it away. Waste of money.
A good burger place known for their chili burgers. The chili itself didn't do anything special, but it was there. They also make shakes and vignette donuts. Pretty good
