Wonderful visit. Make a point to stop here. Chase is a smaller vineyard with a very comfortable vibe that’s just off the beaten path. The wine is very impressive. Chase’s history stands in stark contrast to the newer, commercial operations in the valley.

Brian was our host and he did a beautiful job introducing us to the winery, it’s history and the great wines they produce. We strolled down the Zinfandel vines, saw the knotty stock and then tasted the wines. Chase sellers is gorgeously set with views of grape vines, sitting under the shade of old olive trees as cool breeze brush by—super wow!!!

Part of Napa historic royalty, this property/family has preserved its dedication to authentic site focused wines above the trends and glamour of hwy 29. Zinfandel achieves greatness here as well as Cabernet and Petite Sirah. THEY ACTUALLY DO MAKE A CLASSY WHITE ZINFANDEL, which I paired with Vietnamese food and it was wonderful.
