We spent a week in Napa in May and have been slowly working our way through our many purchases at eight different wineries. I have to say that Chase tops them all now that I have had time to try and evaluate all of them!
My wife, Sue, and I had a wonderful experience at Chase Cellars yesterday afternoon. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor tasting area overlooking the vineyard. Tasted some terrific wines. But the best part of the experience was our tasting guide, Evan. He was a fun, knowledgeable highly personable guide, who took us through the history of the property as well as each of the delicious wines. Best tasting in the entire area. Definitely seek this one out.
Wonderful visit. Make a point to stop here. Chase is a smaller vineyard with a very comfortable vibe that’s just off the beaten path. The wine is very impressive. Chase’s history stands in stark contrast to the newer, commercial operations in the valley.
