Great wines, beautiful and cozy tasting room in old hunting lodge.
Amazing tasting! Brian was fantastic, super knowledgeable! Highly recommend!
Loved our experience at Failla! It feels like going to a friends house to have a bit of wine and catch up.
The tasting room is a beautiful, rustic wood paneled room. It’s more like a tasting home than it is a tasting room.
There’s jazz playing in the background, lots of bookshelves, fun art and the warmth of the wood paneling makes it feel like home.
What’s even better is that the wine is fantastic. The winemaker learned in France so these old world style wines are layered and complex.
We liked most of what we tried and absolutely loved a few.
Can’t wait to return!
Also, the cellar cat, Tubbs, is so friendly and soft! Loved getting to meet him too.
We hosted a customer meeting here. Beautiful property, work a wine cave, redwoods, and a hunting lodge.
Absolutely loved our visit to Failla. The space is warm and welcoming, with a cozy charm that makes you want to linger. Service was exceptional—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely kind. Every wine we tasted was outstanding. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. Can’t wait to come back.
I did a cave tasting with Geoff, who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wine Failla so proudly produces. He was a wonderful host and I not only thoroughly enjoyed the tasting but immediately purchased bottles for the rest of my stay and will be ordering more upon the August release of the 2023 vintages. Of the many wineries I visited during my week in Napa Valley, Failla was by far my favorite. Failla is a must, particularly if you enjoy Pinot Noir, and I strongly recommend the Vivian.
Great visit yesterday at Failla. Brian (sp?) was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back
Like stepping back in. time to how Napa was in the 1970's. Lovely property, lovely wines and a knowledgable host. Off the beaten path, this is a don't miss hidden gem
Failla Wines in St. Helena offers a cozy, lodge-style tasting experience that feels more like visiting a friend’s home than a formal winery. Their cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are beautifully expressive, showcasing the elegance of Sonoma Coast fruit. A special shoutout to Greg, the tasting manager, whose warmth and deep knowledge made the visit both welcoming and insightful. They are focused on Pinot Noir, which is a welcome break from Napa’s cab heavy vineyard. Their vineyard is actually on Sonoma coast that has that bright sea taste. If you’re seeking a relaxed yet refined wine tasting in Napa Valley, Failla is a must-visit.
We had a great tasting in the cave with our host Geoff. We've visited many times over the last 10 years but Geoff gave us new insight into the wines, winery and Ehren Jordan. We also loved the wines he poured. And to top it off, he went to the trouble to bring some items we left behind to our lunch stop in St Helena. We can't thank Geoff enough for his amazing hospitality and a wonderful experience.

My husband and I visited Failla as part of our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. Their whites and Pinots were delicate, smooth, and full of depth. What really sold it for us was the intimate experience from the cozy homey feeling to the attentiveness of the host, Patrick. We learned so much about the wine-making process and about the winery in general. 10/10, would recommend anyone to include Failla as part of their visit!

Haven't been back in 10 years and they did not disappoint. We did the cave tasting and it was a wonderful e,xperience with bonus participant named Tubbs. A sweet little Tortoise Shell kitty. The whites were always our favorite but the 2016 Brut and Pinots were definitely a don't miss. Audrey, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this winery for a more intimate experience. Appointment required.
Our tasting at Failla yesterday with Audrey was amazing. She was so fun to speak with and so passionate about her family's wine. We tasted some sparkling, chardonnay, pinot and trousseau. All incredible. We look forward to our annual trip to Failla each year. Theyre our favorite wine club to be a part of - if you can, I would certainly explore that too. Very reasonably priced and allow you flexibility with the bottles you want shipped each time. The team is top notch so definitely stop by! Thank you Audrey and Ehren for such a memorable visit yesterday.
Great wines and impressive service. Geoff explained the history of the winery and told the story behind each wine. Lola is our favorite.
