First time out to Napa in almost a decade and this was my first stop. I had tried their wine back in 2017 in South Carolina and have wanted to visit their winery every since. I was lucky enough to be able to do so this week and it lived up to my expectations.

A hidden gem! Our group of four had an exceptional tasting experience at Mending Wall and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to taste lovely wine at a reasonable price. Tanya, who hosted our group, was about as good as it gets.

Mending Wall Winery, a project by renowned winemaker Thomas River Brown, offers a delightful tasting experience. The stylish yet minimalist tasting room provides a welcoming atmosphere, free of pretentiousness. During a visit, one can sample an aromatic white blend of Sauvignon and Semillon grapes, followed by a selection of Cabernet Sauvignon wines, with the Tournario Vineyard 2021 Cabernet being a standout. Tanya, Emily, and other staff members are knowledgeable and down-to-earth, contributing to a memorable and educational experience. Visitors can enjoy learning about wine and the area while savoring the high-quality wines.
