Beautiful location. Fantastic experience. Amazing wine and really fair prices. Might be the best value in the Valley.

We had a wonderful visit to Paloma Vineyard. The views are fabulous as are their Spring Mountain wines. It is such an intimate experience tasting in their dining room. We were able to spend time with Sheldon, the owner and winemaker, which always makes the experience more special.
What a lovely experience, to visit Sheldon's beautiful hilltop winery and speak to the owner of the vineyard about the care and attention he puts into his wines. It was such an antidote to be off the beaten path and in the mountains and the wines are unique and delicious. We'll be back!
Paloma is off the beaten path as it were, but they were well worth our trip up the mountain. If you are a fan of "mountain grown" wines Paloma is a must visit experience. The wines are very good and the view of the Valley floor and the mountains across, is breathtaking.
What a great place to visit! The hospitality is Amazing. Family owned and the wine speaks for itself. Definitely going to buy some more wines in our future. Great wines at a reasonable price.Salud! Paloma!
This was our 3rd time to visit Paloma and always a treat. Love the personal attention and love the Merlot. Such a pretty spot on Spring Mountain!
Private, personal tour with tasting at the house! Gorgeous views, loved the hummingbirds; vertical tasting and barrel tastes too. Fantastic experience and wines equally stunning.
Another great visit to Paloma!
Thank you, Sheldon and Laura, for hosting a wonderful tasting experience. We always enjoy visiting and the deep conversations that cover wine, history and simple humour.
Congratulations on the new Cab Franc release, we enjoyed a bottle the same evening over dinner and looking forward to the allocation arriving soon.
Wonderful wines, wonderful people, wonderful views. Highly recommend visiting for all three.
Great wine, direct experience with owner and winemaker were awesome and the view was stunning.

We have been enjoying Paloma for a long time. Their wine and tasting experience never disappoints. There is nothing better than enjoying great wine with friends and family - and that’s how it feels at Paloma! Their first Cab Franc is wonderful! Don’t miss out on this outstanding wine and experience - it’s worth the drive up the mountain!
We had a very friendly and informative wine tasting at Paloma. Sheldon and Laura took time to explain their approach to and process of wine making.Loved the merlots and were impressed by the newly released Cab Franc!
Very much enjoyed our visit and learning about the history of the winery from the owner. Beautiful location on Smith Mountain with views of the lower valley and lots of hummingbirds. Really enjoyed the merlots.
We had such a great time at our tasting. We started our day off at Paloma and though the drive is intense to get there the views were spectacular and no other winery we visited that day could compare. Laura was super kind and we enjoyed chatting with her and getting the opportunity to pet one of the dogs at the house! Thanks!
I booked a tasting as part of my friend's birthday party and we were a large group - nine of us, with seven of us tasting. It was a wonderful experience, with the wine-maker Sheldon on hand to answer questions and tell us about the vineyards. Most importantly the wine was excellent, and we had the pleasure of tasting wine 10 and 11 years old too, which was a treat. The wines are not overpriced for what they are. Finally, the tasting fee was waived for people who bought two ore more bottles, which I really appreciate, especially as too many wineries have stopped doing this very reasonable concession and charge for the tasting regardless. Highly recommended, and I hope to visit again some time. This is a much better experience than going to one of the more commercial valley-floor wineries.
