Rombauer Vineyards

Was a total vibe. Hidden gem with great views that I immediately regret telling you about. Accepts walk-ins. Barbera and Pinot Noir were both excellent. We brought in snacks and had a picnic at one of the tables and it was lovely.

The 2023 Napa Valley Merlot and 2022 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir were fantastic, and most surprisingly, the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc and the 2023 Carneros Chardonnay were delightful. I have never truly liked a white wine until I had those two.

We went for the self-paced tasting, which included at least five selections. Once you finished your first glass, you could go over to the counter to get the next one.

I was impressed by their Zinfandel, it was really jammy!

Great atmosphere with beautiful natural, hilly views. We also checked out their wine cave, which was fun.

After our tasting, we picked up a bottle of their 2022 Proprietor Selection Zinfandel, which is only available at the winery. Loved the blackberry, vanilla, and spice flavors!

We had an incredible time at Rombauer during our trip this summer. The views and atmosphere are unmatched, and we loved the wines we tried. The Sauvignon Blanc was outstanding. Jesus was knowledgeable and personable; he made our experience amazing. We wish we would have spent more time at Rombauer and less time down at the more posh spots in the valley! I could not recommend Rombauer more highly.

Tasting experience was great value, and Kevin was so knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend budgeting at least 3 hours for the tasting and to wander the grounds

Excellent Chardonnay, amazing service, and outstanding views. We will definitely come back. We had a couple of wines by the glass and received excellent recommendations from the staff. Highly recommended.

Our flight was hosted by Kevin. How lucky we were to get him! It was our first event on our honeymoon trip in America and he made it so special. I will always remember the experience with a smile, he treated us so nicely. He knows his stuff and loves to talk about it. It was so interesting to listen, so many stories. Answered all our questions. He gave us all kinds of wines to taste and they were all so different and all delicious. So happy we chose Rombauer Vineyards. The place has a great view, great staff, amazing wine and still is afordable for all people. All compliments to delicious wine and Kevin!

I've been to many wineries in Napa but I recently made my first trip to St. Helena to visit Rombauer Vineyards. I have to say, this place completely exceeded my expectations! An absolute gem.

From the moment we arrived, everything was lovely. Complimentary valet parking, friendly and welcoming staff, private picnic tables with beautiful views, and a relaxed/inviting atmosphere. It's also kid and dog friendly, which made it perfect for our whole family. This might just be my new favorite and go-to spot!

The best Zinfandel in all of wine country! And absolutely stunning views of the valley, definitely put this one on your list!

We attended a seated tasting, our host was Jennifer. She was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we had too much fun! We tasted, of course, a selection extraordinary wines; Jenny was able to provide great info and answer all of our questions. Jenny and Rombauer made this an exciting and accessible experience. What an AMAZING winery. Absolutely gorgeous views, incredible wine and our host Kevin, made the experience a memorable one! We were especially taken aback when they comped our entire experience because we had two nurses in the group in honor of Nurse's Week. This will be a vineyard we will have to go back to! Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience at Rombauer Vineyards. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and peaceful atmosphere. But what truly made our visit exceptional was the outstanding service we received from Jesus. He was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and made us feel so welcome throughout the entire tasting.

The wine itself was simply phenomenal — every single glass was a delight, rich in flavor and beautifully balanced. You can truly taste the passion and dedication that goes into each bottle. The setting, combined with the quality of the wine and the amazing service, made for a one-of-a-kind experience that we’ll never forget.

We will most definitely be coming back — this was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip!

We've done the full tour and we've done the self-paced tasting experience and this team is consistently so wonderful! This patio has one of the best views in Napa too!

World class Chardonnays. And the server was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and engaging. We are always after boutique wines that are not mass distributed, And found a few bottles of their Chardonnays that will be heavenly. A must stop for Chard lovers.
