Rombauer Vineyards

Rombauer allows you to reserve a table for wine by the glass or bottle, and they even welcome outside food for a picnic-style experience at their garden tables. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and make the whole experience feel extra special.

My partner and I visited on my 30th birthday. We couldn’t sit outside because of the rain, but the team set up a lovely table for me inside, complete with a big birthday balloon. Thank you for making my birthday so special!

We chose to visit Rombauer due to the proximity to Calistoga where we were staying, and because I had purchase Rombauer wines at home and had enjoyed. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, and the staff were very welcoming. Great wines, and very affordable tasting. Would highly recommend!

Great place

I am blown away by the personal service that we received at the St. Helena winery this last Saturday! Three of us ladies stopped by just to get a glass of wine and look at the grounds. So many Napa wineries charge a fortune to taste so I thought this would be an inexpensive way to go. But a nice gentleman showed us the wine cave as we were walking around and ended us telling us the whole story of the winery and pouring us several tastes…he turned out to be the CEO and president! Just walking around like a regular worker! We also found out that they only charge 25$ for tastings. It just made our weekend to get such personal service and I’m telling you we will be loyal customers FOREVER! Thanks Bob Knebel! Go visit-you won’t be disappointed! The wine is amazing, terrific views and service like no other winery I’ve EVER been to. 🍷❤️

Make sure you have AAA if you’re heading here. They offer valet parking, but unfortunately, the service is careless. They left my headlights on, and by the time I was ready to leave, my car battery was dead. Their only response was, “Call AAA.” They didn’t even offer us a glass of water (or wine) while we waited, very poor customer service. I’ve also heard AAA gets called to this property often for similar issues like dead batteries and locked keys in cars. You’ve been warned.

Schedule a tasting at Rombauer and it couldn’t have been more fine. A simply beautiful winery with a stunning garden setting. The wine was spectacular and our guide for the tasting was Kevin and he was likewise spectacular. It was a wonderful day, we purchase numerous bottles of wine and will certainly come back again!

This is our favorite winery in the region. Kevin was our host a couple weeks ago and he was the absolute best. Very informative, personable, and super friendly. He knew Spanish as well so it made it very easy to talk to my girlfriend. Valet was super friendly as well. We celebrated our anniversary along with my sister’s anniversary. We could not have been happier. Cheers Rombauer. Hope to be back soon. You’re wine, staff, & views are the absolute best!

A lovely winery to stop at if you are in the Napa area. We were just passing through the area and wanted a relatively quick experience. They took us as walk ins and we were able to sample by the glass. They gave us some goodies and we got to keep our glasses.

The valet was complementary, we were a little confused when we saw that was the only parking option but know that is all included. We walked the beautiful grounds and checked out the cave entrance. Easy, cool experience with super friendly staff.

Really nice place

The experience my friends and I had tasting at Rombauer was truly spectacular. Our host was knowledgeable and kind and funny, helping us learn about wine in a digestible way, never once shaming us for being beginners. We had a large selection of delicious wines for a truly reasonable price. Not a single miss in the group! This winery is a beautiful setting, I cannot recommend enough. We brought a dog and everyone was so kind to her, too!

The wines speak for themselves. This review is about the tasting experience. From the moment we arrived the service was great. We sat at a table with a commanding view even though we were not all there yet. When the rest of the party arrived, Deniro was a fabulous host. Our niece got a gift as it was her 21st birthday. We bought some wine and all the tasting fees were waived. And then there’s the Rombauer wine.
