Starmont Wines at Merryvale

We've been members since the 90s; we love the wines and always have fantastic experiences when we visit. This past Sunday was a fabulous spring day in the wine country, and Manny took exemplary good care of us on the patio.

I had a relaxing wine tasting complimented by a great host. I enjoyed learning about the wines and the region where the grapes are sourced.

The entire crew at Merryvale are simply the best! We frequently visit, as wine club members, and have enjoyed a variety of different tasting options, special events and pairings. Each and every time, we are greeted as if we are family and everyone goes out of the way to make our visit extra special. We happened to stop in one day three years ago just to check this winery out and it was the best decision we could have made. Now every trip to Napa Valley must include a stop here!

We were going to be in the area and really didn't know what to expect given Covid restrictions. Turned out we had a great time at Merryvale. Keep in mind its all outdoors due to Covid so you're rolling the dice on weather but if the day is nice (like ours) you will not be disappointed. Reservations are a must and I can't comment on how their refund policy will go if the weather is bad. We were greeted and seated on a very nice patio area that was well set up for the tastings. Not just whipped together to cover regulations. Our server Manny was great. BTW we did the wine and chocolate pairing which I highly recommend. Nobody hurried us along and we never sat with empty glasses. Ended up buying a bunch of wine to ship home and joining the club because the wine was excellent. One of the few with dessert wine so definitely try that. Looking forward to a return visit

Not worth the trip... move straight on to Domaine Carneros!

Always a great find - especially now with bud break & Green fields of golden mustard a real palate for the Eyes. Wonderful selection of wines to complement the views.

Gail is amazing! Just left here with 3 bottles of wine. I’mAn event planner and these wines are perfect for any occasion.

I would stay here if I could. Very relaxed atmosphere, and the wines were my favorite while visiting Napa.

Gale was such a gracious host. We got a bottle of the pinot from the tasting we did.
