The Country Kitchen is a local favorite. Generations of Prunedale families eat there, and Ima, the server, has been there for decades! You will see everyone you know in there for breakfast.
We did catch them at a busy time. Which is also rather odd because when my food arrived, the eggs were stone cold, but the biscuits gravy was fresh out of the pot. And the home fries were Luke warm at best. Wife said her burrito was far from hot. So not sure what happened??? But kind of hard to justify. We might give it one more try like I said it e as busy but half of the oder should not arrive cold. Coffee was So so tasted like it had been sitting a bit. Again odd for...
Do stop by this gem if you are on route Montery Bay to Yosemite. The service and food is excellent. The choices are wide and every dish we ordered did not disappoint. We particularly loved the pancakes and potatoes - crispy on the outside and soft inside.
