Guacamole looks green, but tastes like lime and not avocado. Otherwise average. Cashier was friendly.

Sadly el Charrito is not what it used to be.It use to be like getting a burrito at your moms or aunts house but now the quality and flavor has declined.I also notice many items get topped off with new food and that’s not the correct way to refill hot food and maybe that’s why I have gotten sick twice from the Chile verde burrito. I know people will hate on this review but I write this with pure honesty and I grew up here in Salinas so it does not feel good to write this about one of the towns favorite sports.The tortillas are still very delicious.
The food is really good, 9/10 times the burritos are well portioned and the salsas are delicious. 99% of the time we order through the app, for us to pick up as we are passing through Salinas, but sometimes we order 1 hr ahead (with a specific pickup time) and we still have to wait 10-15min upon arrival. I wish we could order tortas on the app. The burritos are great, but I don't see why we can't order tortas on the app. Overall, this is a good place to eat at.
