This is a real gem. Went in for fish and chips, came out with a super fresh order and the best menudo I’ve ever had. My husband and I devoured the four piece fish and chips within minutes. The fish was juicy, flaky, and super fresh. But surprisingly to me the menudo was incredible. I was going to Salinas and was thinking fish, like Phil's in Moss Landing. So you understand my level of food quality. I found this place on Google maps and it peaked my curiosity. This place used to be a Long John's silvers, probably the worst fried fish that I have ever tried. So I was not really expecting high-quality, properly prepared sea food. I was wrong the deep fried fish was fresh, not frozen, and the shrimp were so crunchy, yet moist and delicious inside....
Every time I go to the coast from Central Cali this is my favorite end to a perfect day at the beach. The portions are big and the fish is fresh wonderfully battered and perfectly fried the shrimp cocktail and the ceviche tornado also amazing, everything at Fish and Chips is the best.
