Kokoro is one of my favorite restaurants in Salinas! I've only had great experiences here as the wait staff is always friendly and attentive. My favorite is chicken katsu and the California roll but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu.

Hands down the best udon soup I have had in my 60 years on this planet. No exaggeration. They're mixed fried rice with pork, chicken, shrimp is out of control. Their sushi is fresh and tasty. This is by far my husband and my favorite sushi restaurant on the Monterey peninsula or.. I suggest you run. Don't walk to Kokoro sushi

Food was fantastic. The waitress was basically trying to push us out the door and never checked on us until she brought the check. Never gave us a chance to order anything else. Ie. give us the heads up that the kitchen was closing.
I like to eat here but sometimes they are very slow to serve when there are many people

I ordered the pick two rolls and the soft shell crab appetizer, I ended up paying $42. This place has decent food but not worth the price and they never even gave me the miso soup.
