Needs Improvement: - Service can be slow, even when not busy. - Vegetarian/vegan dishes tend to be not as filling. - The salsa served with chips was lackluster and tasted off.

Horrible place got approached by owner super Rude , no one at this place and he said me and my friend needed to move from bar area bc we were blocking ordering area as you can see no one at the order area ,new money and it shows don't patronize

What a place!! The service was amazing. They allow you to sample the beers to choose what you want. The food is amazing warm fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for yummy tacos.

If you haven't been to La Catina you are sleeping! The food and the drinks are top tier. I had two bartenders Athena and Christina and they were both great. They let me taste the different beers. I had a time and can't wait to come back!

I would like to thank the owner Horacio and his staff for doing an amazing job hosting my Uncles celebration of life. The food was great, the beer was enjoyed by my 80 year old uncles and 21 year old cousins. The sound and optical was awesome for my uncle's slide show and musical memories to be enjoyed by all. Thank you again we found a gem in Old Town Salinas Cheers

Popped in on a Saturday late afternoon for a beer. Only one person in front of house and we were told the chef wasn't quite prepared for food service yet, but will let us know when. We were fine with just beers for the moment. Atmosphere: decent music at a reasonable volume; restaurant was very clean, like can smell that it's clean type of clean. 5 stars About 3 minutes to cruise the beer list, and our server Christina came over to break down the beers for us. She is super personable and extremely attentive and friendly. Beers were pretty good! Pricey for brewing "in house" (which we learned it's actually being brewed in Santa Cruz at a friend's brewery). Chef let us know he was clear to cook anything we were up for. We decided to order nachos. My daughter was hungry but very disappointed there was not a designated kids menu. Chef whipped up a helluva grilled cheese and fries for her. Our nachos were awesome, too! Food- 5 stars
What a great place for a night out! The beers are tasty. La Piñorita is a favorite. The new menu gives a variety of great food! Loved the choriqueso tacos, the loaded fries and the pork belly was tasty. We also had the calamari, which I'm pretty picky about, but it did not disappoint. The chipotle aioli sauce complimented it great. The service is always friendly and you can't beat the live bands. I'll definitely be going again real soon.

I normally don't like beer, but their bright and fruity beers have converted me! Their chamoy is also the perfect pairing. I recently tried their food and everything was delicious as well. We had asada nachos and tacos. 5/5. I'll be coming back.

Best brewery in town! Their Vampiro beer is my all time favorite. Love their welcoming atmosphere and live music on the weekends! Also a big fan of their Baja style shrimp tacos. Over all this place is a 10/10 for me!
