Patria's is consistently excellent on all fronts. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The food I love is old-school Barvian. Types of meals are my favorite's schnitzel, goulash, and smoked pork chops. All served to perfection with spetzle and red cabbage the Barvian recipes. I didn't take photos of the main course because I was starving and ate it immediately. I did have a chance to take a photo of my dessert pear strudel warmed perfectly with homemade whipped cream.

First time here, this place is really good , we came here on a Saturday for dinner , everything was good , the ginger soup, the beet salad , the filet mignon, the coffee and the service . The dessert is made at the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious.

Patria Restaurant is the best unassuming gem of a place, reminiscent of a trip straight to Europe. Don't let the fact that they don't have a website dissuade you; the proprietor (who welcomed us himself, when we arrived) shared that they like to do things the old-fashioned way, by word of mouth (hence my review, so I can tell you about this amazing restaurant too!) The hospitality, atmosphere & decor, and cuisine here are all tasteful and delightful. I can't think of anything that could have been better at our first visit. My only complaint is that we don't live closer--and are only able to patronize Patria when we are in Salinas visiting my in-laws--who, suprisingly, hadn't heard of Patria themselves until I was searching on Google Maps one day around Christmas last year. It was the best discovery of the holiday season, a few months ago! Thank you, Patria, for bringing the finest of Europe right into Salinas. We still rave about the several meals that we have been able to enjoy at your restaurant, though we live out of state.

Best fine dining restaurant in Salinas. They’re pasta, German fair, and desserts are delicious. Also very interesting and spacious nterior reminiscent of the type of food served there. The mousse dessert is very good.

My wife and I had dinner tonight at Patria. We enjoyed the food tremendously. The tomatosoup, Pork Chops and Ahi Tuna special were fantastic. One of the best meals we had in a long time. The service wasn’t great but nowadays I know it’s to be expected. We will be returning for sure.

Owner came to our table just to make sure that everything was up to par. I would say the price is worth it for the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely one of the best places to eat in all of Salinas.

A pleasant surprise and worth stopping into Salinas for! We were in Salinas for an event and found Patria. They have a varied selection of foods from Italy, German and France. I had the jager schnitzel with spaetzle and rot khol/red cabbage. The pork was tender and lightly breaded with a tasty jager/mushroom sauce/gravy. The spaetzle was slightly fried and had a slight crunch, which is different than traditional spaetzle. The rot khol/red cabbage is a family recipe with corriander, apples, clove and other spices and was extremely good! The atmosphere is a rustic French country look with rural German country home look. Authentic down to the Hofkreuze cross at the doorway to another section. Several smaller dining areas to make for an intimate dining experience. Highly recommend!
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat level entry and into the dining rooms as well as the restrooms.
