Very nice experience. I had the lamb filet and it was cooked perfectly and the meal was quite delicious.

Updated Review: the new restaurant is no longer the old Patria. It’s more like an American style pasta restaurant like Olive Garden now with most of the pastas being cream filled. It also smells strange every time I walk by, not the way a clean restaurant should smell. Before they serve dessert they sprayed windex all over the table and used an old towel to wipe it down so everything (including my nose) was infiltrated with windex smell when the dessert arrived. That being said, the food was descent and the appetizer had pretty fresh ingredients, but this is more of an Americanized / Olive Garden merging with the old Patria, with little of the previous Patria (including the cool rustic design of the dining room and chairs) left.

We live here locally and made reservations for my birthday, When we made the reservation we told them that we would be celebrating my birthday. We had a nice dinner, but when the desserts came out, I didn’t even get a candle. All I got was when the waiter handed us our bill he said “oh it’s your birthday or anniversary or something?” it completely ruined what was supposed to be a special night. We won’t be going back.
I've been here twice & loved it both times. Food delicious and exquisitely prepared. Large portion. Fantastic wait staff. Superb waiter brought a carafe without my asking for one. A lovely evening both times. Highly recommend.

Made a reservation for 2 to celebrate our 27th anniversary. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. No need to go to Carmel/PG/Monterey to eat such delish cuisines. Good old downtown Salas came through with this jewel of a restaurant. We had the mushroom soup, artichoke appetizer, Lamb and calamari dinner. Servers Mireya and Juan were awesome and went out of their way to make it a pleasant and memorable experience. The bar and bartender were very generous with our drinks. Super highly recommend it for an anniversary and/or some type of celebration. We wish the recent owners lots of success.

We just had a wonderful meal here. Lamb filets and chicken risotto. Now under new ownership, a great menu, and we will be back soon!
Terrific food and service! Kim M was our waitress and she was wonderful. My picky kiddo enjoyed her filet mignon, the skirt steak parpadelle was one of my favorites.
