We live here locally and made reservations for my birthday, When we made the reservation we told them that we would be celebrating my birthday. We had a nice dinner, but when the desserts came out, I didn’t even get a candle. All I got was when the waiter handed us our bill he said “oh it’s your birthday or anniversary or something?” it completely ruined what was supposed to be a special night. We won’t be going back.
I've been here twice & loved it both times. Food delicious and exquisitely prepared. Large portion. Fantastic wait staff. Superb waiter brought a carafe without my asking for one. A lovely evening both times. Highly recommend.
Made a reservation for 2 to celebrate our 27th anniversary. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. No need to go to Carmel/PG/Monterey to eat such delish cuisines. Good old downtown Salas came through with this jewel of a restaurant. We had the mushroom soup, artichoke appetizer, Lamb and calamari dinner. Servers Mireya and Juan were awesome and went out of their way to make it a pleasant and memorable experience. The bar and bartender were very generous with our drinks. Super highly...
