Please take the chicken ravioli off the menu. It is the most unappealing taste and texture. Throughout the dining experience, our server did not come to our table once, except for the bill and dessert menu. The runners kept trying to take our plates away, and we weren't finished with our salad or main course. My guest had a bite of food on her fork to eat with food on her plate, and he went to grab the plate. We had to ask the runner several times not to take our plates. Please train your staff to turn their forks over, communicating that they have finished. Again really disappointed for a first timer.

Beautiful establishment with friendly service and a nice beverage selection. However, their food left me desiring more—their peaches weren’t ripe enough and very hard, and their Greek salad seemed more like an arugula/ onion salad with small amounts of tomato and cheese.

The Black Cod was excellent, the fish was flaky, firm, and full of flavor. The couscous and tomato sauce were good.
The Ravioli with corn (I forgot what the filling was) was also great. We loved our mains.
Wasn't as big a fan of the Tuna Tartare. It had a lot going on. The Brussel sprouts were delicious.
The custard dessert was great, the tiramisu wasn't nearly as good.

I was with a group of 8 & service was excellent Most of the group loved their meals. I had petrale sole & felt it was significantly overly sauced. The tartuffo dessert was the best part of my meal and I did not offer to share.

This place itself is very cute, right in the heart of downtown San Anselmo. Food is ok - overpriced for what it is. My favorite thing we had was the arancini, but gnocchi was tacky and fish was just meh. Drinks were also just ok - overpriced again (the $16 glass of red wine tasted like it came from a $10 bottle of wine...there are much better glass prices and quality at other restaurants nearby). And the service was very very slow. Overall, would not recommend, and would not come back. Seeing a rat scuttle by while we were seated on the walkway from the restaurant to the creek sealed the deal for us.
