We love having dinner and always hosting events at Kientz Hall.
Great food at all levels. Super friendly staff, well motivated. Lamb burger perfectly cooked with savory complementary sauces and vegetables. Flatbread and babaganoush are a great pair. Homemade lemonade worth it.
My friend and I shared the Brussel sprouts and we both agreed, they are , y far, the best we’ve ever had! Great food and service (Hilda was our waitress)We sat at a rooftop table with a perfect view of Mt Tam. Can’t wait to go back!

Kientz Hall is a fabulous restaurant located in downtown San Anselmo, offering delicious and unique flavors. The atmosphere is perfect for any occasion, with beautiful outdoor seating options. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes such as Lamb burgers, Fried chicken sandwiches, salads, roasted Brussels sprouts, and grilled carrots, all of which are superb. The Mediterranean style food is well prepared and not too large. The service staff is very friendly. The location is fantastic. The views on the upper deck looking at Mount Tam are wonderful. They have a good selection of cocktails and draft beers. In the summertime, sitting out on San Anselmo Blvd where all of the action on the street happens is a lot of fun. Great ambience! This is one of the favorite restaurants, and they always get the lamb right. The other food is always really good too. Reservations are recommended, but not hard to get. The view and atmosphere upstairs are really nice. It's great for kids of all ages. Everything was delicious, cute ambiance inside too!
