Matt’s restaurant has been consistently excellent for the last 27 years! We’ve been away awhile and returned to his restaurant recently to amazing results. The guacamole and black salsa is wonderful. The jackfruit tacos were over the top! The Jane salad and lemonade were as expected: delicious. Love the new model of ordering upon arrival and seating oneself. Relaxed and casual. Service was SO fast!! Keep up the great work, Matt! Can’t wait to return!

Very Marin with low-key vibe. Casual but good food , good ingredients. Affordable in a Marin way. Decent beer selection and good cocktails.

We ate here twice while we stayed in San Anselmo. I had the fish tacos both times because they were that good and my boyfriend had the chicken tacos and the beef burrito the second time. They both come with a really refreshing delicious salad topped with mandarin slices and jicama, and a side of rice and beans. It’s a really filling meal.
