The steak was not medium it was cooked well done. There were gnats flying around the restaurant. I will never go back here again.
The quality of my meal was very poor - the appetizer was raw and my steak was not cooked to order. I only ate the dinner salad - the bacon bits and blue cheese dressing were great. Our waitress was nice yet I doubt I'll return.
I had lunch with the boss and three retired former coworkers today.
I ordered the Classic French Dip. It was delicious. I would definitely order that again.
I didn't catch our server's name, but he was very polite and quite attentive. The other gentleman who brought out some of our food was rather polite as well.
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
Food was ok. Definitely nothing to write home about. Price was on par for most steakhouses, but I felt the portions were much smaller than other main competitors. Atmosphere was... kind of weird. Nothing wrong with the restaurant itself really, more of the vibe going in there. A lot of servers just standing around chatting while ignoring their tables. The lackluster service was my biggest issue. My wife and I both worked in the restaurant industry for a long time so we have pretty high standards. Our waitress was painfully mediocre. We got a lot more attention from her when it was time to settle the bill then we did for the duration of our meal (like hovering while we'refilling out the credit card slip - unprofessional) . I tried to flag her down a few times but she was too busy chit chatting with her coworkers to notice. Once I finally thought I could get her attention she turned and walked to the back with the other waiting staff. This happened multiple times. I eventually just got up and grabbed what I needed myself because I was tired of my kids having to go without (menus, straws, napkins). Mind you we made reservations on a Monday night. They were not even close to being busy. This was our first and last time to Black Angus. Your money is better spent at the Outback down the street. Better food, better quantities, WAAAYYYY better service.
The food was so good and the staff was awesome!
Long waits on Father's day. Great food. Good service once seated.
Lasso burger on point ! 👌 amazing service and good food
We had a party of nine, spent $450 (plus tip), and could have made better steaks from Sam's Club and BBQ'd at home. Didn't matter the type either. Some ordered the NY Strips, some ordered the Ribeye, and others the Prime Rib. All of us agreed they tasted like irony liver, like really cheap cuts of meat that had been overcooked, terrible aftertaste. However, none of the steaks were overcooked. And the NY's were stringy. The appetizers and desserts were delicious. And the service was great. However, when charging $30-$40 a plate, the steaks better be darn good, and unfortunately, they were far from it. Will not be returning.
Great steakhouse. The food is good, and service was excellent.

Most of my dinner was good. But the roasted green beans weren't roasted. They still tasted good, just not what I was looking forward to.

Black Angus is not the hopping place it used to be, but the food is still good, and it feels roomier and more family-friendly.

We came in a party of 10. When seated, we were lead to a booth that could fit 5 at the most. Then we ordered, although foos took forever, it was all cooked well and delicious. Kudos to the chefs! Our waitress was horrible. Our drinks were not offered a refill, not once, throughout our entire meal, until my husband asked for one. And then only his was refilled. I do want to say you have a busboy named Jesus. This young man not only stayed in top of taking empty plates, but he refilled our empty drinks and even brought a take home container without being asked. He simply noticed it was needed. The consideration was appreciated.
