Outstanding food and service, we were there for a birthday celebration, as we have experienced in CA restaurants do not do anything special for birthdays. Don't expect anything special anything for celebrations and you will not be disappointed.
The food and service were excellent and our server, Blake, was really outstanding. Made our dinner memorable and very fun. We highly recommend a presumed drink at the bar. Patrick makes delicious and unique martinis and is also outstanding for his mixology and great personality! The salmon and steak are our favorites.
Food, as always, was excellent! No complaints there. Service, on the other hand, was just OK. We were here to celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary, which I noted twice in my OpenTable reservation. But the restaurant did not acknowledge the occasion. This oversight was very disappointing, and took at least 1-2 stars off this review...

From the delicious food, including the salmon with vodka sauce, to the impeccable service, every detail is carefully considered. The food is like homemade, and the servers are friendly and knowledgeable. The location is great, near the ocean, good shopping, and high-end restaurants. Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a meal, Modo Mio offers exceptional service and excellent cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. The prices are on the medium/high side, but the quality of the food and ambiance is well worth it.
