We had a fabulous experience at Modo Mio last night. India was our server and she was fantastic! On top of the wonderful service she was kind and empathetic. The food was delicious and I love that they take care of their wine. There was a beautiful sunset so sitting on the patio was extra enjoyable! I give Modo Mio a 10/10! We will most definitely be back.
We ate twice at Modo Mio during our week visit to Newport Beach, it was that good!! I do want to mention one area of improvement, the seating host could have been more accommodating. While dining last Monday evening, we were seated at a 2 top in the open part of the indoor dining room. We were making it work until a 4 top was squeezed in behind us that was way too close! Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service in cozy and casual setting. One of the best Italian I have had in a long time! The lasagne verdure, swordfish, ravioli are must haves and the drinks are sublime.
