The fried chicken is seasoned so well with a ton of flavor. The meatloaf tastes homemade. The smothered chicken is very well seasoned. Sides like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas, collard greens, and cornbread are all delicious. The collard greens are especially so, so good. Desserts like peach cobbler and sweet potato pie are incredible. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The place is nice, clean, and welcoming. The owner has a true servant’s heart, contributes to the welcoming atmosphere, and makes sure every dining experience is 5 star. The staff is friendly and gives samples of items to help customers choose. The restaurant has all positive vibes and Black Excellence at its finest. The food is reasonably priced but not low budget. It is a family owned spot that cannot be beat for the best food around.
