Well, it all starts with the best food. And the spirit of Texas barbecue in Riverside is top notch and probably the best I’ve had in California at this point. It also helps that Marilyn was probably one of the sweetest people to meet in any restaurant. She was fun and just gave me exactly what I wanted with no issues. I hear the owner’s name is Santos and let me tell you he’s got it going….. visit and plan to stay. If you’re wondering, I know what good barbecue is...

We had beef brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, beans, banana pudding and peach cobbler and we loved all of it. Staff very friendly. Love that you don’t have to order and wait for your food.

Kid-friendliness: No waiting for food which is great when you have hungry kids.
