In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

Now this was just a strange experience. I remember being able to sit inside but you can no longer do that, I am guessing it is because of the growing population of transients in the area. Coming here now reminds me of this fast food place I used to go to as a teenager called Zipps (I think it is called Checkers or Ralleys out here in CA) where you could only walk up to the window and wait outside. If you just are driving thru on your way to work, this is the Starbucks for you....

They have really great staff members and I don’t know if it’s just me, but there is one staff member who is constantly rude to me. I tried to call and let them know in private but for some reason, their phone lines are just way too busy so I’m just gonna make it known every time I go up there I typically order ahead except for one time in the staff. Member had the worst attitude And I let it slide but today she was working the counter again this morning with a really nasty...
