Delicious rolls
This locations look like a hole in a wall until you go inside and they have a next door location for extra tables. The food is good. I ordered chicken karate and vegetables tempura as appetizers. They were good. The batter for the tempura was light, not heavy and the chicken karate was not fried twice but not bad according to my husband. I ordered yaki udon (pan fried udon with chicken and veggies). Very good and not too oily. My husband ordered a chicken Katsu and mother ordered the chicken teriyaki. We also ordered the unagi liver roll and the rock ‘n roll. Unfortunately none of us like raw sushi. Sorry. But these 2 rolls were good. The service was friendly and the food came out fast. Would definitely come back.
Good food, the fish is of fresh and good quality. The prices are very competitive for what you get, the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly.
Excellent service and value
Service was very good. The LA Roll and Tiger Rolls were great. Mostly locals here. Hibghly recommend. Oh yeah…the prices were super reasonable too! Enjoy!
It took one hour before serving my favorite roll.
Overall quality of the food and portions were impressive and the fish was fresh, uni was bountiful at this price point. They also have a good assortment of cooked entrees. I love the expanded location compared to their old location across the street years ago. The layout is nicer and renovated but still approachable. The only thing I would change is the temperature of the room. There was a draft coming through the fan on the wall so definitely come in with layers. Service was quick and perfectly attentive.
Great, fresh, good quality sashimi. Friendly staff. A bit crowded.
Small local spot, friendly service, good food. Everything i ordered was delicious. Order the omakase and you'll see the rice to fish ratio is unbelievable.
Has to be the best omakase for the price I’ve ever had. Without question
Restaurantji Recommends
I'll be honest the place doesn't look like much
But it's the best sushi you're going to find
in the Bay area
When I say it's the best I don't mean it's pretty good, I mean it's the best suit you're going to find in the Bay area
I highly recommend the baby Toro
It was a frustrating experience to be skipped over after waiting in the queue for so long. When I told the waitress that I was there first, he told me they couldn't do anything about it. Not recommend to everyone.
I was waiting in line for dine in, but they skipped me and let another customer who came after me in first. When I reported this to one of the waiters, he said “I understand you were skipped but we can’t do anything about this for you. You have to keep waiting.”
I always get the omakase because it's the absolute best!
Good price for omakase FRESH ! Friendly staffs
