Amazing! I always have trouble finding accurate Hawaiian food on the mainland, Hana is a gem, I love this place and the staff!

Nice place with good solid food and huge portions. People are friendly and pleasant. Excellent Mac salad, a necessity for a Hawaiian place. Prices are very reasonable.

The staff was kind. The food serving portions were crazy. Huge amount of meat, literally so much that our takeout container couldn't close. We got the chicken katsu and BBQ beef. Only 12 dollars each dish. You could feed 4-5 people with 24 dollars. Worth your money. Huge bang for your buck. I can actually say that there was too much meat, not enough rice. A very rare thing to say. Only small downside thing is that the meat is a little bit too salty for me.

Ordered bbq chicken. It tasted like food sitting in fridge for a long long long long while

The portions here are huge! So worth it for $13! I was able to split the Chicken Curry Katsu into 2/3 meals and it was delicious :)

I ordered catering from Hana’s for my daughter’s luau themed birthday party. We had about 30 guest and everyone really liked the food. I ordered the bbq mix with sides of rice and macaroni salad. The price was fair for the amount of food we got and quality.

My boyfriend got the chicken plate and had no issues with his food. He ordered fried shrimp plate for me and instead of shrimp it was fish when I opened up my container, first disappointment, I wasn’t craving fish but I was willing to eat it and not let perfectly good food and money go to waste. I would have eaten the fish except it wasn’t cooked all the way, which was the same issue I had with my fried shrimp the other time we ordered from here. The only thing I was able to eat was my spam masubi which was delicious. My boyfriend had to go to a different location to order me new shrimp so I could eat it with my rice and macaroni salad. I obviously know that this mistake was unintentional but just wanted to point it out so that they are more careful. They have great reviews and my boyfriend loved his food both times we tried this location, my masubi and rice and macaroni salad were great, I just wish I could’ve ate the actual main course.

I went there and ordered barbeque curry. The cook only put two tiny pieces of meat in a small plastic container. I complained and the cook came out and gave me static. Also, it was a cold windy day, and they refused to close the door. They are cheap with meat, and it was too much fat on those small pieces of meat. I'll never go back there again! It was a waste of my Fifteen Dollars.

Eapecially right now, 7/22, this place is so fine-form excellent. Man, this place has succulently on-point selections. The saimin or whatever soup is sOOoo delicious, but just like the primary main dishes, they are all so full of strong-yet-balanced flavor. The portions are super substantial, as is awesomely typical of Hawaiian restaurants.

I love their chicken katsu, BBQ beef, short ribs, loco moco, and any flavor/meat saimin(?) soup, but they also have wayyy more to try and -yes, desire. Thanks -doing this review helped me realize more things to try.

The musubis have a lot of rice, though, so it's good to consider them accordingly, and maybe ask for some extra sauce if choosing them. Like I stated, this Summer, they are very tastier than other times.

Parking: During typical busier hours, it can be harder to find a place on either side of the boulevard that runs through the San Bruno strip, where the place is located. There are also some free parking lots usually with at least one space, and side streets sometimes with spots, but even walking a bit for the food is pretty nice.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can easily roll in and move chairs for the spot at the table in their moderate-room dining area tables.

Simple and inexpensive restaurant. Friendly service and generous portions of absolutely delicious meat, hawaian style. Don't hesitate to enter, you won't be disappointed.
