This is our third time coming here. We too, advantage of the happy hour. We ordered a couple their sushi’s. Special California roll, and the futomaki sushi roll. We also ordered: house special dried noodle with duck, bento box (beef teriyaki, chicken karage and tempura), bento box ( salmon teriyaki and chicken teriyaki). Both bento boxes had big portions. Mother couldn’t finish her bento so she ended taking half of it home for lunch the next day. The service was not bad considering there was only 1 waitresses doing everything. If you are in a rush, this location might not be for you, however, the quantity and quality of food might make up for it.

Terrible service, if you want to wait for your food for 40 minutes and get the wrong order, this is your place. Restaurant has only one waitress. Also show favoritism towards Asian ethnicity.

Great service. Tastey food. Ordered the bento boxes. Very reasonable prices. Pleasant atmosphere. Appreciated that there was no
background music. Our go to restaurants are Japanese. When you're hungry, you don't want to spend 10 minutes deciding what to eat. In addition, service was quick .

Food was decent. Waitress was rude at the end she counted on the table how much the tip was and then asked for 15 to 18%.
Never have we had a server count the tip, or request a specific percentage.
We took the tip and left her with zero.
People need to remember TIPs are not a right. To Insure Prompt Service(TIPS)
The server didn't even meet the service standard.

Food was good and service was ok until the end when we were told by the waitress that we didn't leave at least 15% tip, Honestly it was a mistake in calculation but was rude as we didn't leave her zero. Never have we been told by any service worker that tip was not enough. We gave her more but we never coming back here again. This place must be hurting if you have to tell someone not enough. Not like we saw her besides taking our order, handing us the food and bill. I love coupons but I trashed the buy one get one free as I have zero incentive to come back now and we frequented this place many times before.

I remember coming here for my mom's lunch break when I was little. It looks like the place hasn't changed much. I did notice that they were not as busy, and a lot of people were looking to go to the place next door.The place was decent. The lady who took my order was a little rude. They weren't busy yet she gave me that look, like I was bothering her.We ordered:1. Bento box - beef teriyaki and chicken katsu. It wasn't bad. It hit the spot for the beef teriyaki craving.2. Bento box - beef teriyaki, chicken karaage, and tempura. It was pretty basic at best.Overall, the place itself was ok, but a little pricey. I don't really see myself coming back here anytime soon. It didn't really stand out in a way that would make me want to come back or make it my new go-to spot.

I’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years and it’s always been alright but after the most recent experience I felt compelled to write a review calling out the extremely rude main waitress/ cashier lady. Other reviews make reference to her as well, it’s unfortunate this person is souring Spiral’s reputation. She assumed my order was made online and proceeded to act like a rude B when I asked how much longer my order would be. In the end it was sitting there on the table the entire time turning into nasty warm raw fish but she couldn’t be bothered with actually checking the name on the order.
