“I've been out of town for a while and missed visiting Velvet48. Travel delays be damned, I made sure I could visit tonight. The staff is by far the best around. Drea, Austin and Gasparé all took amazing care of me. I cannot say enough about this place. Great wine, great service, great people!“

“Love this place. The food is excellent, the pizza is obviously the star of the show (make sure to get it crispy) but the wings are outstanding as well. And they're on top of the beer game, they had a keg of Pliny the Younger before official SF beer week happened.
Love the arcade games as well, it's a good touch. Also I love the local artwork on the walls, old maps of Redwood City are always cool to look at.“

“Update: After eating five different items from Twelvemonth, I can honestly say that this bakery has the best vegan baked goods/pastries I've ever had in my life. I'm not kidding. I'm super sad that they don't have a store in New York City. 🥲 We had a cold brew coffee, a matcha latte, a cinnamon roll, and a pistacchio croissant. “Fantastic flavors and presentations at Twelvemonth! We went for a family dinner on a Friday night and the place was hopping. Every dish was really quite tasty, especially the tamales. Good cocktail and mocktail menu, and good selection of wines and beers.
The space is beautiful too, with high ceilings, lots of space, and a gorgeous outside area with tons of seating.
The entire menu is plant-based and vegan, which made the vegans amongst us ecstatic of course. But then the omnivores were happy too because it's just really tasty food!
Can't wait to try the prix fix tasting menu, but one of us didn't want it, and it requires full table participation. Next time then.“

“The food is very good. We split the tea leave salad and it was very generous size. We also shared the branzino curry which was smaller in size and coconut rice and a bread plate. The servers were very pleasant. We will return. The table was a bit noisy because the other side of the partition was the kitchen. There were few people in the restaurant because we were having an early dinner. I would ask for a different table next time.“
